Solum Strikes on Restart to Win Dirt Duel Stock Car Feature at Stuart

By Ben Deatherage STUART, Iowa (Apr. 29, 2026) — The 10th Annual Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel at Stuart Speedway witnessed Dillon Solum time a pivotal restart to perfection and drive away to win the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature, earning his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season in the 20-lap, $1,000-to-win main event. Miciah Hidlebaugh, the 2022 track champion, jumped to the early lead and built a solid advantage while last year’s Bill Davis Memorial winner Brad Derry battled Oregon transplant Solum for second. Solum, now based in Winterset after relocating from Redmond, Oregon, secured the runner-up spot on lap three and began to close in. Corn Belt Clash Returns for Memorial Day Weekend Tripleheader

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Apr. 28, 2026) — The Corn Belt Clash returns for three straight nights of Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite action over Memorial Day weekend, with stops at three of Iowa’s premier facilities. The tripleheader kicks off Friday, May 22 at Marshalltown Speedway, continues Saturday, May 23 at Boone Speedway, and wraps up Sunday, May 24 at Stuart Speedway. Drivers will compete for $500 to win each night with $100 to start, as the series again offers strong payouts across all three events. An additional $3,000 has been committed by anonymous donors and will be distributed among the top 20 drivers in overall Corn Belt Clash points, with $150 awarded to each qualifier.
