Baca Dominates IMCA Modified Opener at Ernie Mincy Memorial Early Thaw

Casa Grande, ARIZONA (January 23, 2025) — Chaz Baca Jr. added another victory to his already amazing 2025 season, dominating the IMCA Modified main event on the opening night of the Ernie Mincy Memorial Early Thaw at Central Arizona Raceway. The two-time defending IMCA National champion and reigning Western Region, Arizona State, and Central Arizona Raceway titleholder led all twenty laps in a commanding performance. Baca, hailing from Mesa, seized the lead from the drop of the green flag and worked to build a comfortable margin. His efforts were briefly challenged as California racers Jerry Flippo and Troy Morris III gave chase. The race took an intense turn midway through as the leaders encountered heavy lapped traffic. Razor Chassis renews North Central Region sponsorship

**PLATTE CENTER, Neb. (January 22, 2025)** – Razor Chassis celebrates 12 years of IMCA Modified support in 2025, marking its fourth season as title sponsor of the North Central Region. The Platte Center, Neb., chassis builder, high-performance parts provider, and Hoosier Race Tire retailer once again contributes to the $6,000 point fund distributed to the top 10 drivers in the region. The North Central Region encompasses tracks in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Saskatchewan, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The Razor Chassis North Central Region champion will receive $2,500, with payouts of $1,250 for the runner-up, $625 for third place, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth, and $200 for drivers finishing sixth through 10th. Jet Racing celebrates 28 years of IMCA sponsorship

**BEATRICE, Neb. (January 22, 2025)** – Jet Racing celebrates its 28th year as an IMCA marketing partner and 14th as the title sponsor of the Central Region for Modifieds. Top 10 drivers in the official 2025 point standings for the region, which includes tracks in Arkansas, eastern Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, will share a $6,000 point fund, with the champion earning $2,500. Drivers must display two Jet Racing logos to qualify for the point fund, which will be presented at the national awards banquet in November.
