Wilson Breaks Through at Crawford County in Mod Lites of Arkansas Action

Wilson survived late-race pressure from defending Crawford County winner Kevin Simkins to score his first Mod Lites of Arkansas victory of the 2026 season during round two of the Stealth Racing IMCA Mod Lite Special Series. “My luck has never been the best there,” Wilson said. “From mechanical failures to on-track incidents, I felt like I kept coming up short.” Wilson’s night began with an impressive charge from the rear of the field to win his heat race, earning the pole position for the feature. Looft Charges From Ninth To Win Arlington Stock Car Feature

By Susan Allen ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 9, 2026) — The air was chilly, but the racing was hot at Arlington Raceway, and there were three different leaders in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature. Ryan Grochow led the first two laps before Ken Tietz, who started in the second row, got around him to take over the race. By lap seven, Matthew Looft had the lead in his No. 6-7 machine after starting ninth. Behind him, there was a battle royale between Dave Moriarty, Dan Mackenthun, Curt Lund, and Trent Loverude. In the end, the Swea City, Iowa driver earned his first feature win of the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region. Moriarty took second, while Mackenthun made a last-lap pass to gain third ahead of Lund. Loverude advanced from 11th to finish fifth. Lloyd Charges to Season Opening Sprint Car Victory at Huset’s

(May 10, 2026) — Aydin Lloyd led the final 13 laps to capture his second career RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car victory at Huset’s Speedway during the season-opening 20-lap main event. Owen Carlson paced the opening seven circuits before the Brandon native capitalized while working through traffic. Lloyd took command on lap eight and steadily pulled away during the caution-free feature, building nearly a five-second advantage at one point before winning by 1.264 seconds. Carlson settled for second, while Brandon Bosma advanced from ninth to finish third. Andrew Sullivan crossed the line fourth, followed by Cole Vanderheiden in fifth. Heat race victories went to Travis Christensen, Carlson, Dylan Waxdahl, and Lloyd. Michalob Voeltz won the B Main.
