Glasser Sweeps Nodak Weekend with Last-Lap SportMod Victory

(May 25, 2026) — The Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods capped off the Memorial Day Weekend doubleheader at Nodak Speedway with a dramatic finish as Estevan, Saskatchewan’s Keenan Glasser stormed from 10th starting position to steal the lead on the final lap. Payce Herrera controlled the early stages while Glasser methodically worked the high side through the field. With five laps remaining, Glasser began reeling in the leader before making the winning move coming to the checkers. The victory completed a weekend sweep for Glasser and marked his fourth win of the season, with three coming at Nodak Speedway. Herrera finished second after starting ninth while Chad Strachen charged from 12th to third. Stan Tomlinson advanced from 11th to fourth and Darren Schatz rounded out the top five. Shute Outduels Field in Boone Modified Make-Up Feature

By Jane Burd BOONE, Iowa (May 23, 2026) — Boone Speedway completed a full slate of make-up features from the rain-shortened May 16 program on Saturday night, highlighted by Todd Shute charging from seventh starting position to capture the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature. Shute resumed the postponed event already near the front after racing was halted the previous Saturday due to rain. Nick Meyer paced the opening lap once competition resumed, but Shute quickly took control on lap two and never relinquished the lead the rest of the way. The Norwalk driver raced from seventh starting position to score his seventh Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season and second Boone Speedway triumph of 2026. Jake McBernie charged ahead nine positions to finish second while Meyer settled for third. Jeremy Mills advanced eight spots to fourth, and Corey Sauerman rounded out the top five after gaining nine positions. Stankowski Holds Off Late Charges for Eagle River Stock Car Victory

(May 23, 2026) — Wausau’s Mitch Stankowski fought off a late-race charge from a trio of veterans to earn a hard-fought Sunoco IMCA Stock Car victory at Eagle River Speedway. Hometown driver Trentin Bell led the opening four laps before Stankowski, who started fifth, slipped underneath Bell on lap five to take over the top spot. The pair thrilled the crowd over the next several circuits as Stankowski committed to the bottom groove while Bell ripped the cushion around the top side. A caution on lap six for a stalled Dustin White machine tightened the field and allowed Ryan Glembin to enter the battle for the lead as he moved into second at the halfway mark.
