Berry, Thornton are very good in Super Nationals Stock qualifiers

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 9) – After a couple early cautions, Dylan Thornton set it on cruise and raced to the win in Thursday’s first Stock Car qualifying feature at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Most of the excitement in the second qualifier at Boone Speedway came late, as Tom Berry Jr. and Brandon Czarapata led the 26th starting Jeffrey Larson and 18th starting Mike Albertsen across the stripe in a green, white, checkered conclusion. Runner-up in his Wednesday Modified qualifier, Thornton was chased the distance by Trent Nolan. Former champion Damon Murty raced from 12th starting to third in just five laps and Donavon Smith earned his 15th straight Saturday start in the division, rounding out the top four.  “This is amazing. Convincing Super Nationals qualifying wins for Aikey, Ward

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 9) – One of the lessons to be learned from Thursday Modified qualifying at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s was not to ever doubt Jeff Aikey. Tim Ward was pretty convincing, too. A night after passing up a guaranteed seventh or eighth row spot in Saturday’s Big Dance at Boone Speedway, Aikey marched from 10th to win the evening’s first qualifier. Shryock shines on B & B All-Star Stock Car Invitational stage at IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 9) – Kelly Shryock won his 500th career feature race earlier in the season.  He won another of what has quickly become one of IMCA’s most prestigious events Thursday night. Shryock led the last nine times round the track, catching race-long leader Dusty Van Horn on his way to topping the inaugural B & B Racing Chassis Stock Car All-Star Invitational at Boone Speedway. BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 8) – Time trial qualifying Wednesday night filled the field for Thursday’s inaugural B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational at Boone Speedway. Advancing from their late-night qualifiers were Travis Barker, Tom Berry Jr., Ryan Bjerkeset, Brian Blessington, Randy Brands, Tathan Burkhart, Troy Burkhart, Brandon Czarapata, Todd Decker, Ethan Dotson, Derek Green, Chanse Hollatz, Jeffrey Larson, Dillion Lawrence, Zachary Madrid, Damon Murty, Jake Nelson, John Oliver Jr., Jay Schmidt, Kelly Shryock, Devin Smith, Johnny Spaw, Caleb Stone, Jeff Tubbs and Dusty Van Horn. 82 Stock Car drivers now eligible to qualify for B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational

BOONE, Iowa – Abe Huls and Todd Gereau are the newest additions to the list of 82 drivers eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational. Time trial qualifying is Wednesday, Sept. 8 with the inaugural Stock Car invitational to be held Thursday, Sept. 9 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Five drivers from the Northern Region and five drivers from the Southern Region advance from the first round; winners of sanctioned events paying $5,000 or more are guaranteed starting spots so the number of at-large qualifiers from round two that evening is yet to be determined. BOONE, Iowa – Cameron Wilkinson is the latest addition to the list of IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational field.  Wilkinson won Sunday’s Thayer County Fair special.
