Five more IMCA Modified drivers eligible for Fast Shafts All-Star qualifying

BOONE, Iowa – Opening night of the 2019 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s brings the Deery Brothers Summer Series to Boone Speedway for the 49th time. The IMCA Late Model tour headlines the Monday, Sept. 2 program at Boone, in a main event that pays as much as $3,500 to win. Along with a guaranteed $2,000, the winner earns a Weekly Racing Bonus of as much as $1,500 based on their number of sanctioned starts this season, plus a wealth of contingency awards. Pit gates open at 9 a.m. and racing starts at 2 p.m. Also on the Labor Day card are qualifying races for Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods. The IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s is primed for a Sept. 2-7 run at Boone Speedway. Two hundred and fifty drivers have already registered electronically, part of the pro­cess designed to streamline the 37th annual event. “Registration is very important. Purchasing an IMCA license if you have not done so is important. BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 31, 2022) – A dozen championship-winning Modified drivers will battle side-by-side and bumper-to-bumper in the Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions at Boone Speedway during the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Harris, the Boone chassis builder, has been title sponsor of the event for 16 years and provides a portion of the purse to be paid for the $1,000 to win race pn Saturday, Sept. 10.  Qualifying for the 12-car, 12-lap, race is Thursday, Sept. 8 and is open to top drivers in local track standings competing at Super Nationals, as well as 2022 track champions, former national, regional and Super Nationals champions, and to previous race winners.  Two hundred and sixteen different drivers from 26 states and Canada have competed in the Modified Race of Champions since it became part of Super Nationals in 1989.
