NAPA Fan Zone Offers Full Week of Activities During Super Nationals

VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 6, 2026) — The NAPA Fan Zone will once again serve as one of the busiest gathering places during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, offering activities throughout the week for drivers, crews, sponsors, and fans alike during America’s Racin’ Vacation.

Located adjacent to the grandstands at Boone Speedway, the Fan Zone hosts everything from special recognition days and Race of Champions redraws to All-Star Invitational starting position draws, championship celebrations, and the annual engine auction.

Activities begin during the NAPA Auto Parts Double Down Prelude weekend. On Saturday, the Boone County Chamber will welcome visitors to the Fan Zone before Super Nationals officially gets underway.

Monday’s activities spotlight the future of the sport during Young Guns Day, featuring Junior National competitors. Thursday celebrates Women in IMCA, highlighting Lady Eagle competitors and the women who help make IMCA racing successful. Friday honors military service members during Veterans Appreciation Day, featuring display vehicles from the Salute to Veterans Tour.

Championship Saturday concludes with the engine auction and Big Dance Victory Lane celebrations.

The Fan Zone will once again host several popular redraws using Casey’s pizza boxes. Drivers will select a Casey’s pizza box containing a card featuring a matching numeral and number of pizza slices to determine their starting position.

The Stealth Racing Mod Lite Race of Champions redraw will be held Sunday. Monday, the top starting positions for the Sunoco IMCA Late Model Big Dance will be determined using the Casey’s pizza box redraw. Tuesday’s activities include redraws for the Dirt Defender/Pulse Racing Innovations SportMod Race of Champions and the Stephenville Starter Hobby Stock Race of Champions. Championship Saturday concludes with the Rage Chassis Modified Race of Champions and the Sunoco Stock Car Race of Champions redraws.

Drivers competing in the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational and Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational will also gather in the Fan Zone for their annual starting position draws using Boone Speedway’s famous souvenir spoons. The Stock Car draw is scheduled for Thursday, followed by the Modified draw on Friday.

Following each championship feature throughout Super Nationals, the top four finishers will make their way to the Fan Zone for championship celebrations. Those ceremonies begin Sunday with the Stealth Racing IMCA Mod Lites, continue Monday with the Sunoco IMCA Late Models and Tuesday with the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts, before culminating Saturday with the Big Dance Victory Lane celebrations for the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods, and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks.

One of Championship Saturday’s signature traditions is the engine auction. Following the crowning of the Big Dance champions, the winning engines from the Modified, Stock Car, SportMod, and Hobby Stock features will be auctioned in the Fan Zone. Each champion will receive a newly built engine courtesy of Midstate Machine. The auction is open to drivers, crew members, and fans; however, bidders must be physically present, as no phone or online bidding will be permitted.
