Hope For The Warriors Finds Community and Connection at Super Nationals

By Ben Deatherage CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (Aug. 26, 2026) — For retired U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Lee Bonar Jr., a trip to Boone Speedway during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s is about far more than watching race cars. It is about community. It is about finding veterans who may be struggling with the transition from military to civilian life, sometimes without anybody around them realizing it. Nine New Names Earn B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational Qualifier Wins in August

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 26, 2026) — August competition added nine new drivers to the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car eligibility list for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational, while nine already eligible drivers added to their qualifying win totals. Drivers become eligible by winning Speedway Motors IMCA-sanctioned events paying $1,000 or more to win, earning the opportunity to qualify for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational, held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway. Drivers winning qualifying events paying $5,000 or more receive automatic starting positions in the invitational. Already eligible drivers continued to collect qualifying victories throughout August. Brock Beeter won the Ole Olson Memorial at Nodak Speedway on Aug. 9, while Greg Peck collected victories during the Donald Green Tribute at Park Jefferson Speedway on Aug. 7 and the Bill Kirk Memorial there on Aug. 16. Seventeen More Drivers Earn Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational Eligibility in August

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 26, 2026) — Seventeen more drivers became eligible to attempt to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational with qualifying victories during August, while already eligible competitors continued to add wins at special events, touring races, and weekly programs across all five IMCA Modified regions. Drivers become eligible by winning IMCA-sanctioned events paying $1,000 or more to win, earning a place on the eligibility list to attempt to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational, held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway. All-Star Invitationals Bring 30-Car Fields and Big Awards to Super Nationals

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 25, 2026) — Thirty drivers in both the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds and Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars will take center stage during America’s Racin’ Vacation at the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s when the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational and B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational return to Boone Speedway. Drivers earned eligibility for the invitationals by winning designated All-Star qualifying events paying a minimum of $1,000 to win during the season and last fall. Two rounds of group time trials during Super Nationals week will determine the majority of the 30-car starting fields. The B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10, with qualifying Wednesday, Sept. 9. Super Nationals Pre-Entries Hit 1,000 for Fifth Consecutive Year

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 26, 2026) — For the fifth consecutive year, pre-entries for the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s have reached the 1,000 mark as another massive gathering of IMCA competitors prepares to descend on Boone Speedway. Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified driver Chevy Hadan of Washington, Neb., became the 1,000th driver to register for the 44th annual event, scheduled Sept. 5-12. The milestone continues a remarkable run of four-figure participation at America’s Racin’ Vacation. Super Nationals first reached 1,000 pre-entries in 2022 and has surpassed that mark every year since. Competitors from 31 states, three Canadian provinces, and two Australian states are already represented on the 2026 entry list. Harris Auto Racing Open House Returns Sept. 10 During Super Nationals

Located at 1775 219th Lane, the Harris Auto Racing facility will give visitors an opportunity to go behind the scenes, tour the shop, meet team members, and get an up-close look at the company’s 2027 chassis. Super Nationals Registration Due Aug. 28 to Race in Prelude

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 25, 2026) — Drivers planning to compete in the NAPA Auto Parts Double Down Prelude must be registered for the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s by noon Central time Friday, Aug. 28. Competitors who register for Super Nationals after the deadline will not be eligible to compete in the Sept. 5-6 Prelude at Boone Speedway. Before registering, competitors must first purchase an IMCA license for every division in which they intend to compete. Drivers should then register for Super Nationals on MyRacePass. Entries will be confirmed in the order they are received, with car numbers assigned based on confirmation order. Lap sponsorships will be up for grabs across the five Race of Champions events during America’s Racin’ Vacation at Boone Speedway, with the driver leading each lap earning the bonus posted for that circuit. The 12-lap Rage Chassis Modified Race of Champions will feature $100 on every lap, putting $1,200 in lap-leader bonuses on the line.
