82 Stock Car drivers now eligible to qualify for B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational

BOONE, Iowa – Abe Huls and Todd Gereau are the newest additions to the list of 82 drivers eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational.

Time trial qualifying is Wednesday, Sept. 8 with the inaugural Stock Car invitational to be held Thursday, Sept. 9 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Five drivers from the Northern Region and five drivers from the Southern Region advance from the first round; winners of sanctioned events paying $5,000 or more are guaranteed starting spots so the number of at-large qualifiers from round two that evening is yet to be determined.

Drivers winning sanctioned events paying $750 or more held through the first weekend of September become eligible to qualify. They must be pre-registered for Super Nationals to attempt to qualify for the All-Star Invitational.Pre-registration is also a requirement to compete in the Sept. 4-5 Prelude at Boone. Both the registration form and pit stall application links are on Super Nationals menus on IMCA and Boone Speedway websites.

Winner of the All-Star race earns $1,000 and receives a bare powder coated chassis value at $4,800 from title sponsor B & B Chassis as well.

NAPA Racing Fan Zone a center of off-track Super Nationals activities

Alvarado, Morris, Herring race to Fast Shafts eligibility

VINTON, Iowa (Feb. 26, 2024) – Another three Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers are new to Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Ricky Alvarado and Troy Morris III were winners during Central Arizona Raceway’s Ernie Mincy Spring Thaw. Toby Herring, meanwhile, triumphed at Abilene Speedway’s aptly named Ice Breaker. Other drivers winning qualifying events already eligible were Chaz Baca, Tom Berry Jr., William Gould and Kollin Hibdon. Drivers eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational now include:  Chris Abelson, Chase Allen, Curtis Allen, Ricky Alvarado, Brandon Beckendorf, Eddie Belec, Tom Berry Jr., Ethan Braaksma, Zane DeVilbiss and Spencer Diercks. $34,000 from engine auction added to purse shares at IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (September 20, 2023) – The auction champions’ engines added another $34,000 to the Saturday night purse paid at the 41st annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Engines that powered championship-winning rides of Dylan Thornton in the Stock Cars and Mike Smith both gaveled at $10,000, adding $344.83 to the take home pay for the main event qualifiers in both divisions. Jake Sachau’s Northern SportMod title-winning engine saw a $7,100 top bid, adding $244.83 to purse shares for the other drivers in that event. And the engine that Tim Ward won both the Double Down Prelude and the Modified main event sold for $6,900, generating another $215.63 for each of his Saturday night competitors.
