U.S. 36 Raceway schedules practice for Wednesday, March 27

OSBORN, Mo. – U.S. 36 Raceway is adding a practice to the schedule Wednesday, March 27 from 6-10 p.m. After cancelling practice on Saturday, track officials want to allow drivers the opportunity to make some laps around the 3/8th mile oval before opening night.  Pit gates will open at 5 p.m. and pit passes are $25. Practice is open to all classes of cars for the four-hour session. Please continue to check social media as well as for updates on the March 29 Rumble in the Bullring. U.S. 36 is closely monitoring the forecast and will make a decision on the event Wednesday. US 36 Raceway updates 2019 schedule, announces inaugural Missouri IMCA Nationals

OSBORN, Mo. – An updated 2019 schedule for US 36 Raceway has been posted. Highlighting the update is the addition of the Missouri IMCA Nationals. The Missouri IMCA Nationals will take place Oct. 9-12 and will feature IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods.  More details about this event will be released at a later date.  US 36 Raceway is also making an effort in 2019 to allow each regular division three or four nights off dur­ing the course of the season. US 36 Raceway to offer online tickets this season

OSBORN, Mo. – U.S. 36 Raceway is pleased to announce that online tickets will be available for pre-purchase this season.  Fans and teams will now have the opportunity to plan ahead and purchase their tickets through U.S. 36’s new online home and MyRacePass. Either click on the Buy Tickets button on the home page or click on the ticket icon under the schedule and results.  Tickets are set to go on sale Monday, March 8. Tickets will have an available window to purchase online through noon the day of the event.  After purchasing your ticket, print out the voucher and bring it, along with a valid I.D. of the purchaser, to the track the night of the event. 2019 drivers’ meeting set for US 36, Bethany

CAMERON, Mo. – The drivers’ meeting for the 2019 season at US 36 Raceway and Bethany Speedway is set for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 at the Cameron Community Center. The drivers’ meeting is combined for both race tracks so drivers can get all their paperwork completed for both tracks if they choose to. The meeting will allow drivers and teams to register their car and reserve pit stalls for the upcoming season. Registration for the 2019 season for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars is $60 and $50 for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods is $50. Championship Night, Fan Appreciation Friday at US 36 Raceway 

OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway crowns champions in three IMCA divisions during Fan Appreciation Night this Friday, Aug. 31. Final points races of the season are on the schedule for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. Matt Richards has already clinched the unofficial IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car title at Osborn. General admission for adults is $10 with kids 12 years of age and under getting in free to grandstands. Prices have been rolled back to $1 for hot dogs, pop and water and $2 for adult beverages. There will also be prizes for best Halloween costumes worn by adults and kids.


Hicks Memorial Shootout is Friday at US 36

OSBORN, Mo. – Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Friday night, Aug. 24, when US 36 Raceway hosts the second annual Wayne Hicks Memorial Shootout for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. In addition to an increased purse, Northern SportMod drivers are in the running for drawing prizes. It’s also championship night for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars at Osborn.


Clancy is double winner at US 36

By Rick Staley OSBORN, Mo. (Aug. 17) – Chad Clancy was a double winner Friday at US 36 Raceway, topping IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car features. Clancy battled Mich Ross before going the upper hand in the Stock Car show. He went side-by-side and wheel-to-wheel with Richard Spriggs before taking his second checkers of the evening in the Modified main. Matt Lent ran a near-perfect Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod main event and the result was his career-first win. Steve Starmer was second while Josh Munsen’s late charge for third. Jack Potter led every lap in winning his first local IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car main event. Drivers wished a happy birthday to Caleb Hammond via live video, and collected stickers as well as more than $1,000 during intermission for the 11-year-old race fan from Oskaloosa, Iowa, bat­tling leukemia.


Misfit Challenge features this weekend at US 36, Eagle

Nearly perfect, Peeler paces Crist Memorial 

OSBORN, Mo. (July 27) – Twenty-two near-perfect laps after taking the initial green flag, Blake Peeler was celebrating a $1,262 payday and the highlight of his IMCA Sunoco Stock Car career. Peeler led every circuit of US 36 Raceway’s Joe Crist Memorial Friday night, taking the big win in front of a packed grandstand at Osborn. Peeler took command from the start of the second annual event after wife Nellie drew the two pill for him. A couple cautions kept him out of lapped traffic and Peeler put some distance on the rest of the field following the final restart with four laps left. “I’ve won championship night and mid-season championship night features before but this is the absolute highlight of my career,” he said. “I’m good friends with the (Crist) family so winning this race means a lot to me.” Brad Whitney was second, a couple car lengths back, and hard charger Mich Ross was third. Schwope benefit this Friday at US 36

OSBORN, Mo. – Two dollars from each general admission ticket sold Friday night, July 13 at US 36 Raceway will be donated to the fund helping driver Eddie Schwope Jr. with medical expenses. Photographer Judy Staley and announcer Rick Staley have each made initial donations. A helmet will also be passed during intermission to raise money for Schwope.
