Two nights of racing this weekend at U.S. 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Two big nights of racing are set for this weekend at U.S. 36 Raceway.

This Friday, July 3, is the Budweiser Shootout. After two postponements, U.S. 36 has remained persistent in completing the Bud Shootout. The Sprint Series of Nebraska is once again prepared to make its first appearance of the season at U.S. 36 that evening.

As part of the event, heat race bonuses are on the line for the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars. Winners will receive a $75 bonus. Second in the heats earn a $50 bonus with third picking up a $25 bonus.

To complete the show, the IMCA Modifieds and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods will also battle it out on the high banks. The pits gates open at 4 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, July 4, the IMCA Modifieds headline a second night of racing with a $1,000 to win, Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also racing.

Pit gates for the July 4 special open at 4 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $15 for general admission, $12 for senior and military and children 12 and younger are free.
