IMCA Stock Cars in spotlight Friday at U.S. 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – This Friday, June 26, at U.S. 36 Raceway the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars headline the night with the running of the Doyle Lance Remembrance Race. 

The Doyle Lance Remembrance Race pays $700 to win and $100 to start and is using a draw/redraw format.

IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern Sport Mods are also racing.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m., with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $15 for general admission, $12 for senior and military and children 12 and younger are free. Burnett is best at US 36

By Rick Staley OSBORN, Mo. (June 15) – Casey Burnett proved the fastest of 20 entries in Friday’s Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at US 36 Raceway. Burnett battled side-by-side with Matt lent for the front spot before edging ahead. Lent ended at the runner-up and third was Chris Wright. Chad Clancy picked up his second local IMCA Modified win of the season, holding off Shadren Turner for the checkers. Brad Whitney led every lap of the caution-free IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature and Ty­ler Drueke topped the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car main event.

Sprint Series of Nebraska opening at US 36 Raceway, New Raceway Park

OSBORN, Mo. – The Sprint Series of Nebraska will be heading South to US 36 Raceway in Mis­souri on Friday, May 15 and then will head North on Sunday, May 17 to The New Raceway Park in Jefferson, S.D. “We are excited to finally get to kick off the first two IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Series of Nebraska Races,” says Sprint Series of Nebraska coordinator Racine Hadan. “Race tracks have been hit very hard here in Nebraska with all of the COVID-19 restrictions. Rain postpones Bud Shootout at U.S. 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. (June 19) – Due to late morning rain, US 36 Raceway officials have canceled racing for June 19.  With the threat for more storms later today and driver’s traveling from several different states, US 36 made the decision to cancel for tonight.  The Bud Shootout featuring the Sprint Series of Nebraska is postponed to Friday, July 3. The Doyle Lance Remembrance Race for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars is postponed to next Friday, June 26. The race pays $700 to win and $100 to start.  In addition to the Doyle Lance Remembrance Race, up next at US 36 Raceway, Friday June 26, is the Weekly Racing Series featuring IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars and Karl Kustoms SportMods.
