Final week for 2020 IMCA Fast Shafts All-Star qualifying

VINTON, Iowa – The race for IMCA Modified drivers to get their names on the 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot heads into the final week.  Winners of sanctioned events held through Aug. 6 that pay $1,000 or more to win become vote eligible. Super Tuesday voting will be Aug. 11 to elect 28 of the 30 drivers who will start the All-Star Invitational on Friday, Sept. 11 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Super Tuesday voting will be conducted through the IMCA Facebook page, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST. The top three vote recipients from each of the five IMCA Modified regions become All-Stars, with their region of candidacy determined by where they made the majority of their sanctioned starts. The next 13 drivers with the highest vote totals, regardless of region, join the All-Star field. IMCA expands RoC qualifications for 2020 Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – IMCA officials have announced that more drivers will be eligible to qualify for the race of champions in their respective divisions at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. 2019 track champions, as well as 2020 champions or current point leaders, along with former RoC winners, Super Nationals, national and regional champions, will be eligible to qualify.  “There was a need to adjust eligibility because of the situation a number of tracks have experi­enced in 2020,” explained IMCA President Brett Root. “We expanded eligibility to include these deserving drivers due to the restricted schedules at these facilities resulting from the pandemic.”  The Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions for Modifieds, Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champi­ons for Stock Cars, Stephenville Starter Race of Champions for Hobby Stocks and BSB Manufactur­ing Race of Champions for Northern SportMods will be held Saturday, Sept. 12 at Boone Speedway. Health care heroes theme for best appearing car contest at Super Nationals

750+ early entries for Super Nationals come from 26 states, internationally

BOONE, Iowa – More than 750 drivers have already thrown their helmets in the ring to be part of the best and biggest dirt track racing event on the planet. By the noon deadline Thursday for IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s pre-entries, 752 drivers had made plans to be part of the 37th annual running of America’s Racin’ Vacation Sept. 2-7 at Boone Speedway. Early entries are in hand from 26 states plus Canada and Australia and include 228 Modified drivers. For the first time in Super Nationals history, Stock Car pre-entries have topped the 200 mark. Great drivers get shares of great Super Nationals purse

BOONE, Iowa – Great dirt track drivers will take home shares of a great purse at the 37th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super National fueled by Casey’s.  Nearly $300,000 will be paid out to competitors at the upcoming Super Nationals, scheduled Sept. 2-7 at Boone Speedway. BOONE, Iowa – There’s much to see and plenty to enjoy at the Fan Zone through­out the week of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Nu­merous events will be held at the Fan Zone, located south of the main grandstands, each day of America’s Racin’ Vacation Sept. 2-7.  The Casey’s General Store redraw for starts in the front six rows of the Deery Brothers Summer Series main event will be held at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday. Inaugural Super Nationals bag toss tourney has expanded field, title sponsor

BOONE, Iowa – The inaugural bag toss tourney planned at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will have an expanded field as well as a title sponsor.  The initial field of 32 two-person teams filled up quickly and has been expanded to 48. Scorezit, a divi­sion of Wehrs Machine and Racing Products, takes on the title sponsor role for the Sunday, Sept. 1 tour­ney.  Entry fees are $30 per team and top four teams will receive shares of the 100 percent payback of that $1,440.  The first-place team goes home with $576 and a Scorezit scorekeeper. Second place is good for $432, third for $288 and fourth for $144.  Sorezit is The Ultimate Scorekeeper for backyard games. Deery Series headlines opening night at IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – Opening night of the 2019 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s brings the Deery Brothers Summer Series to Boone Speedway for the 49th time. The IMCA Late Model tour headlines the Monday, Sept. 2 program at Boone, in a main event that pays as much as $3,500 to win. Along with a guaranteed $2,000, the winner earns a Weekly Racing Bonus of as much as $1,500 based on their number of sanctioned starts this season, plus a wealth of contingency awards. Pit gates open at 9 a.m. and racing starts at 2 p.m. Also on the Labor Day card are qualifying races for Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods. Deadline is tomorrow noon to register early for Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – The clock is ticking for drivers still planning to register early for the Sept. 2-7 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Those who do so by noon on Thursday, Aug. 29 pay entries fees of $40 for Modi­fieds, $25 for Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods and $15 for Sport Compacts, and make themselves eligible for Weekly Racing Bonuses in their respective divisions. Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod drivers are also required to pre-regis­ter to reserve pit stalls and to compete in the Aug. 31 Prelude at Boone Speedway.
