Looft Breaks Through for First Career Modified Victory at Arlington

(June 20, 2026) — Matt Looft put together a memorable night at Arlington Raceway, earning his first career Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature victory and later adding a runner-up finish in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event. Looft started fourth in the 15-lap Modified feature and quickly tracked down early leader Dan Menk. After shadowing Menk through the opening two circuits, the Swea City, Iowa driver made his move on the inside down the backstretch to grab the lead and never looked back. Menk made several attempts to reclaim the top spot, but Looft held firm to score his first career Arlington Raceway Modified victory and add his name to the list of 2026 Razor Chassis North Central Region winners. Jahnz Charges From 10th for Arlington Hobby Stock Victory

(June 13, 2026) — Arlington Raceway’s most action-packed feature Saturday evening belonged to the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, where multiple cautions and restarts kept drivers on edge before Austin Jahnz emerged victorious. Ben Davis paced the opening laps before an early caution slowed the field. Additional incidents throughout the race repeatedly reset the order, but Taylor Manderfield capitalized on one restart to sweep around Davis on the high side and take command. Manderfield maintained the lead through the midway point, but Jahnz steadily worked his way forward from the 10th starting position. Following a late caution, the Lewisville driver closed in on the leader and eventually made the winning move, securing his third straight Arlington Raceway victory. Mackenthun Prevails in Wild Stock Car Finish at Arlington

(June 6, 2026) — A wild night of racing at Arlington Raceway produced plenty of thrills, spills and dramatic finishes, highlighted by Dan Mackenthun’s second straight Sunoco IMCA Stock Car victory at the Sibley County fairgrounds oval. The feature saw its share of carnage early. Ryan Grochow and Garett Uecker led the field during the opening laps before contact exiting turn four sent Uecker sideways, collecting Matt Schauer and Matt Speckman in a crash that eliminated all three drivers. On the restart, Grochow again showed the way, but Mackenthun quickly charged from his 12th starting position and worked his way to the front. The Hamburg driver and Trent Loverude traded positions repeatedly while slicing through lapped traffic. Mackenthun Capitalizes Late for Arlington Stock Car Victory

(May 30, 2026) — Dan Mackenthun used a late restart to his advantage and charged from the 11th starting position to win the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature at Arlington Raceway. Ryan Bjerkeset led the majority of the race while drivers behind him battled two and three wide throughout the field. Dave Moriarty spent much of the event trying to track down the leader while Mackenthun steadily worked his way through traffic. A late caution changed everything when Garrett Uecker made contact with the retaining wall in turn three, ending his night and setting up a crucial restart. Mackenthun capitalized on the opportunity, taking over the lead and driving away for his fourth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season. Goettl Gets Arlington Hobby Stock Victory After Wild Main

(May 23, 2026) — The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks featured three different leaders in a wild 19-car contest before Winsted driver Mason Goettl emerged with his first B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region win of the season at Arlington Raceway after starting third. The race saw multiple incidents during the opening stages before the final 11 laps clicked off under green flag conditions. Goettl held the early lead before Cory Probst charged from 10th into contention and grabbed the top spot on lap 10. Goettl stayed within striking distance as lapped traffic came into play on the white flag lap. Probst crossed the line first in the special 18-lap race honoring Kyle Busch, but relinquished the win in post-race tech after refusing a legal claim, handing the victory to Goettl. Enter Breaks Through for First Career Stock Car Win at Arlington

(May 16, 2026) — A packed night of Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing action at Arlington Raceway featured exciting battles across all divisions, highlighted by Broddy Enter’s late-race charge in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars. Matt Speckman led early from the pole in the 20-lap Stock Car feature while plenty of action unfolded throughout the stout 24-car field. Luke Sathoff ran second until a lap two caution flew when the No. 96 of Cornelius broke in turn three, ending his evening. On the restart, Speckman resumed command, but Vesta’s Broddy Enter methodically reeled him in after starting eighth. Ryan Grochow led the first two laps before Ken Tietz, who started in the second row, got around him to take over the race. Chad Volk of Lake Crystal, who started third, had his car dialed in early and led the entire distance to score his first win of the year in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Cory Probst, who started 10th, appeared to be a contender before a caution sent him to the back on a restart. Volk held steady out front while Taylor Manderfield tried to reel him in but settled for second. The town itself rises gently beside its namesake lake — small, hard-working, and steeped in stories older than the state itself.
