Modified Madness rescheduled for Friday at US 36

By Jacob Blair OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway has tried twice to run Modified Madness presented by St. Joseph Beverage and twice the event has been plagued by weather. Attempt number three has been rescheduled for this Friday, June 28. IMCA Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win and $150 to start their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods will run the Wayne Hicks Memorial Shootout as part of the event, which will pay a $966 check to the winner. The 20-lap feature will pay $86 to start. At the end of the night, the SportMods will also run the Shocker Chassis Six Pack Shootout. The top six eligible drivers in votes will participate in the event at the end of the night. Arnold Motor Supply Midwest Madness Tour primed for June 29-July 5 run

HARLAN, Iowa – Big paydays for IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are on the line each night of the inaugural Arnold Motor Supply Midwest Madness Tour. Both divisions run for at least $1,000 to win at each show during the June 29-July 5 tour. Modified features are qualifying events for the 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Deery Series doubleheader next at Maquoketa, Independence

MAQUOKETA, Iowa – Deery Brothers Summer Series drivers return to a pair of familiar venues next week, with $2,000 to win features Tuesday, June 18 at Maquoketa Speedway and Wednesday, June 19 at Independence Motor Speedway. Both IMCA Late Model main events pay a minimum of $300 to start. IMCA Wild West Modified Shootout set for June 21-29

Teams from Oregon, Washington, California, North Dakota, British Columbia, and beyond are expected to make the journey. The Speedweek extravaganza ventures to some of the best racing facilities in California and Oregon. Murray County Speedway hosts Friday Sprint Series of Minnesota show

SLAYTON, Minn. – Murray County Speedway rolls out the red carpet for the first of three visits this season by the Sprint Series of Minnesota on Friday, June 14. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars vie for $500 to win and a minimum of $150 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, E3 Spark Plugs State and special series points will be awarded; there is no entry fee. Miller Sellner Case IH is sponsor for the evening’s program, which also features IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. United Rebel Sprint Series primed for Dodge City Raceway Park 305 Nationals

Admission free Saturday at Perris for kids in Little League, Scout uniforms

PERRIS, Calif. – All kids wearing little league or scout uniforms will be admitted free to this Saturday’s event at Perris Auto Speedway. As soon as the last preliminary race is over, drivers will bring their cars onto the front straightaway and all kids, whether they are wearing a uniform or not, will be allowed onto the track to collect candy, get autographs and take photos. At the end of intermission, all the kids will go back into the stands to watch the main events. “The kids always have a great time at the races,” promoter Don Kazarian said. “Especially on nights like this when they get to go on the track at intermission, meet all of the drivers and collect some candy as well.
