IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars get top billing at Crist Memorial

OSBORN, Mo. – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $1,262 to win US 36 Raceway’s Joe Crist Memorial Shootout.

The third annual special is sponsored by the Crist family. Along with a minimum of $125 to start and $162 for the longest tow, the Friday, July 26 event pays $62 to each race winner, the driver who draws the number 62 pill and to the hard luck award recipient.

There is no entry fee. IMCA Modifieds and IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cards are also on the card, with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, E3 Sparks Plugs State and track points to be awarded. 

Pit passes are $35. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, $5 for kids ages 7-12 and free for six and under.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:30 p.m., racing at 8 p.m.

Rain forces cancellation of Championship Night at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Due to overnight thunderstorms and more forecasted rain later tonight, US 36 Raceway officials have decided to cancel racing for Aug. 16.  This will conclude the championship chase for the season as US 36 will focus on the remaining specials scheduled for 2019. US 36 Raceway has two big post-season events planned as the Sprint Series of Nebraska joins the Saturday Sep. 28 show. Then on Oct. 9-12, it is the inaugural IMCA Missouri Nationals. Details are being finalized for the two events and more information will be released soon.

Racing canceled for Friday at U.S. 36

OSBORN, Mo. – Due to circumstances out of the track’s control, U.S. 36 Raceway officials have been forced to cancel racing for Friday, Sept. 18. U.S. 36 Raceway apologizes for any inconvenience the cancelation may cause. Up next at U.S. 36 Raceway is championship night on Friday, Sept. 25. The final event of the season at US 36 Raceway is the second annual IMCA Missouri Nationals on Oct. 8-10 featuring the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kus­toms Northern SportMods. The Saturday night finale will pay $2,000 to win to the Modifieds and Sprint Cars, $1,700 to the Stock Cars and $1,500 to the Sport Mods.

Racing action returns to the high banks of US 36 Raceway

By Rick Staley  OSBORN, Mo. – Exciting racing action like none other roars back on the beautiful high banks of US 36 Raceway tonight (Friday) with IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern Sport Mods on the Aug. 27 program.  The HWY 36 Auto and Diesel Shocker Chassis Shootout is this Friday Night as well with Mich Ross, Rickie Bobby, Shadren Turner, Nate Barnes, Carson Masoner and JJ Baumli ready to compete.
