Night number three at Kossuth County draws 93 IMCA entries
By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (May 23) – A season-high 93 IMCA entries visited the oval on night number three of racing this season at Kossuth County Speedway. Jake O’Neil came from back in the pack to win the IMCA Modified feature after early runs at the front by Aaron Benson and then Kelly Shryock. O’Neil took the lead with five laps to go and never looked back. Jeremy Mills was the runner-up with Shryock taking third. Jeramie Faber was the early leader in the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature before Alec Fett grabbed the lead after a caution on the third lap. Once out front, he only had to survive a yellow flag on the fifth lap and hold a challenge from his brother Colby to win his first feature of the season. Shryock pulled double duty on the night as he also piloted an IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and took full advantage of his outside pole position to lead the entire race and pick up the feature win.
