ALGONA, Iowa (July 7, 2022) – Devin Jones had fans buzzing again at Kossuth County Speedway’s Bobby Thilges Memorial Bumble Bee Nationals.

Jones won the Thursday night special for Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts for the third time, leading from the second lap to the $1,000 checkers.

Neil Forsberg and Mark Smith led the big field of 25 Sport Compacts to the flag stand. Smith was the leader after one trip around the track before Jones took over the top spot.

Jones built onto his lead after restarts on laps eight and 11. Mick Rykhus began closing the gap on the leader before another caution flag came out on lap 17.

The final eight laps ran caution-free. Jade Lange made a nice run late to finish second as Tyler Fiebelkorn was third with Adam Boehme and Charles Prime rounding out the top five.

Trinity Landheer-Cambell went from 23rd to 10th to pick up $300 as the hard charger.
