Sniper Speed IMCA Lone Star Stock Car Tour boasts six dates and potential $10,000 payday

WACO, Texas – Tour officials are pleased to announce upcoming dates for the 2022 Sniper Speed Lone Star Stock Car Tour, which include a new track and new live stream provider.  IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars will compete nightly for $1,000 top prize money and $100 to start during the six-night tour.  Each night, pre-registered drivers will also be eligible for contingency awards and a chance at the $5,000 top points championship prize money for the tour.  In addition, the driver winning both Stock Car main events Feb. 21 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway and Feb. 26 at Kennedale Speedway Park earns $10,000. ABILENE, Texas – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars get top billing at the Abilene Speedway season-opening IMCA.TV Ice Breaker Feb. 18 and 19.  The Friday night feature for The Class Too Tough To Tame pays $750 to win while the Saturday night Prelude to the Sniper Speed Lone Star Tour main event boasts a hefty $3,000 paycheck. Fridays at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway to feature three IMCA divisions

PLUMERVILLE, Ark. – Friday night race programs at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway will feature three IMCA divisions beginning this season.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA STARS Mod Lites join weekly shows on the quarter-mile clay oval at Plumerville beginning March 25. PEORIA, Ariz. – The Winter Series Challenge sees five IMCA divisions in action on four nights at Canyon Speedway AZ. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $800 to win and B & B Race Cars All-Star qualifying eligibility on Saturday and Sunday Jan. 29 and 30 and Feb. 5 and 6. IMCA Northern SportMods run for $800 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and IMCA STARS Mod Lites both for $500 to win on the same four programs. Dotson three-peats: Hollatz, Paris, Knutson, Werkmeister are first-time IMCA.TV Winter Nationals winners

By Ben Deatherage  SOMERTON, Ariz. (Jan. 8) – Ethan Dotson won for a third straight night while Chanse Hollatz, Shane Paris, Eric Knutson and D.J. Werkmeister all raced to their first IMCA.TV Winter Nationals victories of 2022 Saturday at Cocopah Speedway. With 200-plus cars in the pits for a fourth straight night, Dotson continued his domination at Somerton by leading all 25 circuits in the 25-lap IMCA Modified main event. The Bakersfield, Calif., racer kept his ride on the top side of the track and did his best to pull away. The second of two stoppages came on lap 17, just as Dotson was about to negotiate the tail end of the field.   On the ensuing restart, Kollin Hibdon tried to power his way past but Dotson kept him in check.  Dotson was the trailblazer for the balance of the distance for his third straight Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying victory of the 2022 IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing campaign.  Hibdon ended as the runner-up with third going to Tripp Gaylord.
