Kossuth County pays $2,000 to Thursday IMCA Modified winner

ALGONA, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds race for $2,000 to win their Dash at the Harris Clash qualifying main event this Thursday, June 15 at Kossuth County Speedway. The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier is part of the Algona Feed Store Modified Special. There is a $50 entry fee for the draw/redraw show. Also on the card are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. All points, including track, will be awarded in all sanctioned divisions. Pit gates open at 5:30 p.m. and racing follows 7 p.m. hot laps. Greased Pig at Tri-City pays $1,077 to IMCA Modified winner

AUBURN, Mich. – The green flag flies this Friday night for Tri-City Motor Speedway’s seventh annual Greased Pig special. IMCA Modifieds race for $1,077 to win and a minimum of $150 to start their June 16 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier, sponsored by Allstar Performance. The main event will be 41 laps. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, Allstar Perfor­mance State and local track points will be awarded. There is no entry fee. Pit gates at Auburn open at 5 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow the National Anthem at 8:15 p.m. Grandstand admission is $14 for adults and $13 for fans ages 55. BRITT, Iowa – Friday’s Dash at the Clash qualifier at Hancock County Speedway totes a $1,000 IMCA Modified top paycheck. Hamilton County Speedway hosts June 13 Mid Iowa Topless

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run without roofs at Hamilton County Speedway’s aptly named Mid Iowa Topless 50 on Tuesday, June 13. Modifieds race for $2,000 to win their 50-lap Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. North­ern SportMods go 35 laps and chase a top check of $1,000. Twenty-six Modifieds will qualify for the starting grid with the top two non-qualifiers based on track standings completing the field. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded in both divisions, as will Side Biter Chassis North Central Region points for the Modifieds. WEST LIBERTY, Iowa – Another doubleheader for two premier IMCA series is on tap next Tues­day, June 13 at West Liberty Raceway. The Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models makes its second visit of the season to West Liberty for a $2,000 to win, minimum $300 to start event while IMCA Modifieds following the Arnold Motor Supply Hawkeye Dirt Tour run for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $150 to start. JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Nine states and Canada are already represented in on-line registrations for the July 8-13 Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Tour. All six IMCA Modified main events will pay $2,300, a minimum of $300 to start, and are qualifying events for 2017 upcoming Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Cardinal’s Sheen Memorial moves to Memorial Day Weekend

EUNICE, N.M. – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars get top billing at Cardinal Speedway’s Kelly Sheen Memorial Shootout, which moves to the Memorial Day Weekend for its eighth annual run. Qualifying starts on Saturday, May 27 at the Eunice, N.M., speedplant. Twenty-five lap main events on Sunday, May 28 sport top checks of $2,000 for the Stocks, $1,200 for the IMCA Modi­fieds, $800 for the Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods and $500 for the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.
