Sprint Series of Oklahoma dates set at Ardmore, Ada this weekend 

By David Smith Jr. OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – After nearly a one-month hiatus, it’s back to racing for the Sprint Se­ries of Oklahoma presented by Smiley’s Racing Products as a doubleheader looms this weekend for the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series. It all kicks off tonight (Friday) at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore where three events have been scheduled with Mother Nature winning twice and Wichita Falls, Texas, driver Chad Koch picking up his first feature victory of the season back at the season opener on March 25. On Saturday, June 24, drivers and officials head east to Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada for the first of two scheduled appearances on the 2017 race season. $1,000 checks go to IMCA Modified, Hobby winners at Clay County special 

SPENCER, Iowa – One thousand dollars is the top prize for both IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks at Clay County Fair Speedway’s June 26 Monday Night Madness special. The Modified feature is a qualifier for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods complete the card, running for $500 to win. All IMCA points, including track, will be awarded and there is no entry fee in any division. The Hobby Stock feature is the first of four Summer Speedweek events at area tracks. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15 and pit passes are $25. Cheesehead Triple Crown paydays add up to $20,000 for IMCA Modified winners 

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. – IMCA Modified drivers chase winner’s checks totaling $20,000 over the course of the upcoming Cheesehead Triple Crown. 141 Speedway’s June 21 and 22 Clash at the Creek boasts a $10,000 top check. Both the June 23 Battle at the Zone at Oshkosh SpeedZone Raceway and Shawano Speedway’s June 24 Fury at the Fairgrounds are $5,000 to win events. All three features are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifiers and Ken Schrader will vie with the IMCA regulars both nights at 141. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded through­out the richest week of IMCA racing in Wisconsin. NORTH PLATTE, Neb. – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $2,000 to win while IMCA Modifieds chase a top check of $1,000 at Lincoln County Raceway’s Tuesday, June 20 Marcie Schultz Memorial special. IMCA Wild West Modified Shootout set for June 23-July 1 campaign 

By Ben Deatherage YREKA, Calif. – If you’re looking for the best IMCA Modified drivers in the Pacific Northwest and Canada, look no further than the Wild West Modified Shootout scheduled from June 23 to July 1. Eight races will be conducted in nine nights at some of the best five race tracks in the coun­try. All eight features pay $1,000 to win, a minimum of $100 to start and are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events. Kossuth County pays $2,000 to Thursday IMCA Modified winner

ALGONA, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds race for $2,000 to win their Dash at the Harris Clash qualifying main event this Thursday, June 15 at Kossuth County Speedway. The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier is part of the Algona Feed Store Modified Special. There is a $50 entry fee for the draw/redraw show. Greased Pig at Tri-City pays $1,077 to IMCA Modified winner

AUBURN, Mich. – The green flag flies this Friday night for Tri-City Motor Speedway’s seventh annual Greased Pig special. IMCA Modifieds race for $1,077 to win and a minimum of $150 to start their June 16 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier, sponsored by Allstar Performance. The main event will be 41 laps. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, Allstar Perfor­mance State and local track points will be awarded. There is no entry fee. Hamilton County Speedway hosts June 13 Mid Iowa Topless

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run without roofs at Hamilton County Speedway’s aptly named Mid Iowa Topless 50 on Tuesday, June 13. Modifieds race for $2,000 to win their 50-lap Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. North­ern SportMods go 35 laps and chase a top check of $1,000. Twenty-six Modifieds will qualify for the starting grid with the top two non-qualifiers based on track standings completing the field. The Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models makes its second visit of the season to West Liberty for a $2,000 to win, minimum $300 to start event while IMCA Modifieds following the Arnold Motor Supply Hawkeye Dirt Tour run for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $150 to start.
