BOONE, Iowa – The 150-plus venues from across the country and Canada that give weekly racers the opportunity to shine provide the theme for the Best Appearing Car contest at the upcoming IMCA Speed­way Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Super Nationals nears record with entries from 26 states 

BOONE, Iowa – The number of drivers already entered for the Sept. 3-8 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s is impressive. So are all the states they’re coming to Boone Speedway from, to be part of America’s Racin’ Vacation. “Our pre-registration numbers are over 500 and running ahead of last year. Harris Auto Racing in 12th season as title sponsor for Modified Race of Champions

BOONE, Iowa – Harris Auto Racing returns as title sponsor for an event that’s become one of the most prestigious for IMCA Modified competitors. For a 12th consecutive season, the Boone, Iowa, chassis manufacturer and high performance parts retailer provides a portion of the purse to be paid at the Modified Race of Champions, on Sept. 8 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Qualifying for the 12-car, 12-lap, $1,000 to win race is Friday, Sept. 7 and is open to top drivers in local track standings competing at Super Nationals, former national, regional and Super Nationals champions, and to previous race winners. First round of voting yields seven first-time All-Star candidates 

BOONE, Iowa – Seven of the first 15 drivers elected to the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational will make career-first starts when the event hits the track Friday, Sept. 7 at Boone Speedway. First-time All-Stars are Troy Foulger, Chaz Baca, Zachary Madrid, Shane Hiatt, Tyler Frye, Chris Elliott and Austin Wonch. Steven Bowers Jr. was elected to his second All-Star race, Will Ward to his third and Hunter Marriott and Kevin Sustaire both to their fourth. Richie Gustin and A.J. Ward are both in for the fifth time, Ricky Thornton Jr. and William Gould both for the sixth. Thornton, who became a new father earlier this week, had the top vote total among the 139 drivers on the first-round ballot. Dates determined for two Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational voting sessions

BOONE, Iowa – Dates have been announced for two voting sessions to elect 28 of the 30 starters in the upcoming Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. It’s the process of pre-registering for the 36th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s that will be different. Late Models following the Deery Brothers Summer Series return to the Labor Day program at Boone Speedway for the Sept. 3-8 Super Nationals. Sport Compacts run their complete program on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
