Boone, Stuart Frostbusters on for this weekend

BOONE, Iowa (April 6, 2022) – Forecasts are promising for Frostbuster specials this weekend at Boone Speedway and Stuart Speedway. IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win, IMCA Northern SportMods for $400 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250 to win Saturday, April 9 at Boone and Sunday, April 10 at Stuart. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, re­gional and KMJ Performance Iowa State points will be awarded both nights. Mach-1 Sport Compacts are also on the Sunday card at Stuart. Entry fees are $30 for Modifieds, $25 for Stock Cars and $20 for both SportMods and Hobby Stocks. Pit passes are $30. The pit opens at Boone at 2 p.m. and racing is at 5 p.m. Stuart opens the pits at 2 p.m. and starts racing at 4:30 p.m.  IMCA.TV broadcasts the Boone Frostbuster.

Cochrun wins Clint Walrod Memorial

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (July 21) – One hundred and twenty-nine race cars came to the Clint Walrod Memorial at Stuart Speedway. Feature winners for the night were Kaden Cochrun, Lucas Daniels, Izac Mallicoat, Jeremy Gettler, Dylan Nelson, Tim Ward and Braxton Wallace.  IMCA STARS Mod Lites were first up with Mike Zemo Jr. and Nathan Wolfe on the front row. Kaden Cochrun shot into the lead on lap one and through a couple of cautions it was all the 23K as he took the feature win. Josh May made it interesting but came up second with Zemo third, Dillon Raffurty fourth and Jon Padilla fifth. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods came out with Shane Paris and Izac Mallicoat leading the field to green. Mallicoat powered into the lead until the caution flew on lap six. Carter comes up big at Ron Little Memorial finale to Midwest Madness Tour at Stuart

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (July 1) –One hundred and forty-four race cars came to the 22nd annual Ron Little Memorial and Karl Kustoms Midwest Madness Tour program at Stuart Speedway.  Tim Ward and Todd Shute were out front for the IMCA Modifieds. Shute led early with Cayden Carter blowing by on the bottom side on lap six. A caution on lap 26 bunched the field and gave them a shot at Carter but it was not to be as The Gasman, already on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot, took the $2,000 win. Kyle Brown finished second with Ward third, Joel Rust fourth and Shute fifth.  Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods saw Bryan Morris and Garrett Nelson on the front row. Morris gets first feature win at Stuart

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (June 23) – Bryan Morris made his way to victory lane following his first Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod win Wednesday at Stuart Speedway. The Northern SportMods were first up with Blair Simmons and Morris on the front row. Morris took charge early with Dusty Masolini and Cam Reimers in tow. A caution with nine laps down bunched the field but Morris was too strong as he went on to the win, his first ever in the division. Second was Masolini, Brayton Carter third, Reimers fourth and Colton Nelson fifth. Next up were the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars with Zac Johnson and Miciah Hidlebaugh leading the field to the green flag. Sachau, Murty, Purdy are dynamic at Stuart

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (June 16) – Jake Sachau, Dallon Murty and Jeremy Purdy were all dynamic on night two of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel at Stuart Speedway.  Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods were the first Dirt Duel feature on the track with Brayton Carter and Dylan VanWyk leading the field to green. VanWyk led early until Carter slid by to take the lead a third of the way through the 35-lap event. Carter held it through a several yellows before Sachau used a restart to take the lead on lap 25. Carter gave it his all but Sachau was too strong as he went on to the $2,500 win. Carter finished second with Izac Mallicoat third, Cam Reimers fourth and VanWyk fifth.  Chanse Hollatz and Abe Huls led the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars to the green flag for their 40-lap feature, next with Hollatz leading the first 11 laps. Qualifying starts for Stuart’s Dirt Duel

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (June 15) – Tuesday night saw 108 race cars and drivers at Stuart Speedway for opening night of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel.  Qualifying feature winners for the night were Dylan VanWyk and Brayton Carter in the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods, Dallon Murty and Chanse Hollatz in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, and Jeremy Purdy and Braden Richards in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.  In the feature for Mach-1 Sport Compacts, Braxton Wallace and Dusty Champlin were on the front row. Wallace rocketed into the lead and it was all over from there as the T13 drove off to the win. Mark Smith finished second with Andrew Mills third, Harold Robb fourth and Curtis Masterson fifth. IMCA Midwest Madness Tour primed for June 27-July 1 run

JEFFERSON, S.D. – IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars headline each night of the upcoming Midwest Madness Tour presented by Western Iowa Racing Results. Both divisions race for $1,000 to win, with Modified features being qualifiers for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and Stock Car features for the B & B chassis All-Star event, on Sunday, June 27 at Raceway Park in Jefferson, S.D; Monday, June 28 at Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, S.D.; Tuesday, June 29 at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa; Wednesday, June 30 at Buena Vista Raceway in Alta, Iowa; and Thursday, July 1 at Stuart, Iowa, Speedway. Minimum start money is $150 for the Modifieds and $125 for the Stocks. Modified and Stock Car drivers must compete in at least four of the five events to be eligible for point funds to be paid to top five in points. IMCA Stocks, Northern SportMods, Hobbies chase big checks at Stuart’s June 15-16 Dirt Duel

STUART, Iowa – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $2,500 to win while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks chase a top $1,500 check at Stuart Speedway’s Tuesday and Wednesday, June 15 and 16 Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel.  Another $500 in bounty money will be paid to the Stock Car driver winning that feature ahead of Dallon Murty and Damon Murty. The Stock Car winner also becomes eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star race.  Qualifying races for all three divisions are on the Tuesday card, with the top four from each of those features locked in for Wednesday’s main event. IMCA STARS Mod Lites and Mach-1 Sport Compacts also run on Tuesday, IMCA Modifieds on Wednesday. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. with racing to follow each night. Dallon Murty brings home bacon with Whole Hog 50 IMCA Stock Car win at Stuart

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (May 31) – Dallon Murty brought home the bacon Monday night, with the $5,000 IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature win at Stuart Speedway’s inaugural Whole Hog 50. The big win carried with it an automatic starting spot in the B & B Chassis All-Star race at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and came ahead of Johnathon Logue and 10th starting Kelly Shryock.  Sunday qualifying winners Murty and Luke Lemmens led the field to green for their 50-lap main event, with Murty and Lemmens running 1-2 over the first 14 laps.  A caution bunched the field and Logue took advantage to jump into second as Murty continued to lead. Sabin starts Stuart show with IMCA Sport Compact win

By Josh Reynolds                                                            STUART, Iowa (May 26) – Wednesday night brought 100 race cars and drivers to Stuart Speedway for IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing and feature winners for the night were Kolby Sabin, Brayton Carter, Dallon Murty, Tim Ward and Brandon Cox. First up were the Mach-1 Sport Compacts with Owen Richards and Mark Smith on the front row. Smith led the majority of the race but it was Sabin taking the lead coming to the white flag and driving off to the win. Smith finished in second with Curtis Masterson third, Craig Furstenau fourth and Tyler Fiebelkorn fifth.
