Sachau, Murty, Purdy are dynamic at Stuart

STUART, Iowa (June 16) – Jake Sachau, Dallon Murty and Jeremy Purdy were all dynamic on night two of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel at Stuart Speedway. 

Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods were the first Dirt Duel feature on the track with Brayton Carter and Dylan VanWyk leading the field to green. VanWyk led early until Carter slid by to take the lead a third of the way through the 35-lap event.

Carter held it through a several yellows before Sachau used a restart to take the lead on lap 25. Carter gave it his all but Sachau was too strong as he went on to the $2,500 win. Carter finished second with Izac Mallicoat third, Cam Reimers fourth and VanWyk fifth. 

Chanse Hollatz and Abe Huls led the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars to the green flag for their 40-lap feature, next with Hollatz leading the first 11 laps.

Dallon Murty used the bottom of the track to take over on lap 12 and that was the end of lead changes as the 99X car checked out on the field to take the $2,500 win. Hollatz finished second with Buck Schafroth third, Damon Murty fourth and Derek Green fifth.

IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks came out next with Purdy and Brandon Cox on the front row for the $1,500 to win 30-lap feature. Purdy took charge early with Cox and Tanner Dixon close behind.

Purdy led through a series of cautions to take home the hardware and the feature win. Tanner Dixon finished second with Jason Kohl third, Eric Stanton fourth and Braden Richards fifth. 

Chase Rudolf and Martin Bennett brought the IMCA Modifieds out for the last race of the night and it was Rudolf leading early. Todd Shute made it to second and gave it his all but it was Rudolf taking the comfortable win. Shute finished second with Bennett third, Josh Gilman fourth and Cayden Carter fifth. 

One hundred and twenty cars checked in for night two of the Dirt Duel at Stuart. Tuesday night IMCA winners were Kaden Cochrun in the STARS Mod Lites and Braxton Wallace in the Mach-1 Sport Compacts.
