By Scott Owen SHAWANO, Wis. (Aug. 18) – Justin Ritchie has won a number of features at Shawano Speedway, but the former late model track champion scored his first IMCA Modified feature Saturday night. As Ritchie led, the action was hot and heavy behind him as Jason Czarapata, Lance Arneson and Wyatt Block all came from deep in the field to battle for second and third.  In the end it was Ritchie making his way to victory lane followed by Czarapata, Block, Arneson and Konnor Wilinski.  Mitch Stankowski returned to victory lane after some time away from the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car division. Yarie, Barkholtz go wire to wire at Shawano

By Scott Owen SHAWANO, Wis. (July 31) – Marcus Yarie and Jordan Barkholtz led all twenty laps of their respective features IMCA features during the midweek show at Shawano Speedway. It was the third feature win of the season for each driver. Yarie is a two-time track champion and the current point leader in the IMCA Modified division, and any time he puts his art skills to good use and draws a front row feature starting position one can bet that it’s going to be a long night for his competition. Yarie led every lap of the feature as Wyatt Block, Lance Arneson and Jerry Wilinski battled hard behind him for position. In the end it was Yarie cruising to victory followed by Block, Arneson, Jerry Wilinski and Konnor Wilinski. Barkholtz started outside the front row of the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature by virtue of the draw. As Barkholtz led, Lucas Lamberies and Kyle Raddant battled for second. Block is best in IMCA Modified main at Shawano

By Scott Owen SHAWANO, Wis. (May 19) – Rookie Wyatt Block won his first career IMCA Modified feature Saturday at Shawano Speedway. Trevor Spaulding pulled to the early lead with Eddie Muenster in tow. As those two paced the field, Block began to work through the field after starting the race in 10th.  By the time Block passed Muenster for second near the midpoint of the race, Spaulding had built up a sizeable advantage. Block continued to reel in Spaulding, though, before a caution after lap 13 bunched the field back up. Block took advantage and grabbed the lead with an inside pass for the lead on lap 15, then never looked back in scoring his first IMCA Modified win. Spaulding finished second. Lance Arneson was the hard charger as he moved from 17th starting to finish third. Jeremy Christians notched another IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win, his first of the 2018 season, while Lucas Lamberies remained unbeaten in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods as he won his third feature in a row.
