ARDMORE, Okla. (April 13, 2022) – All-stars in three IMCA divisions see action each night of the May 25-29 All Star Shootout.  Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods both for $750 to win beginning with opening night Wednesday, May 25 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore. The Shootout is then Texas-bound for shows Thursday, May 26 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells; Friday, May 27 at Boyd Raceway; Saturday, May 28 at Kennedale Speedway Park; and Sunday, May 29 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco.  All five race programs will be broadcast by IMCA.TV. Pirkle paces IMCA Modifieds at Showdown, feature win is sixth straight at Kennedale

KENNEDALE, Texas (Nov. 6) – Jacob Pirkle has to be sorry his season is over. Pirkle won his sixth straight IMCA Modified feature at Kennedale Speedway Park, topping the Saturday night Summit Racing Equipment Showdown main event. The checkers were good for $1,500.  “The car was just hooked up,” said Pirkle, who had started fourth and took over in front following a restart midway through the 25-lapper. “We had a lot of lapped traffic but navigated through those guys.” Track champion Glen Hibbard was runner-up and Razor Chassis South Central Region champion William Gould ran third. Paul White and Buddy Ables completed the top five. Pirkle had won has last five starts at KSP during the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season. Kennedale Speedway Park sets 15th annual Showdown for Nov. 5, 6

KENNEDALE, Texas – The final checkered flags of the season fly Nov. 5 and 6 at Kennedale Speedway Park, where four IMCA divisions are on the 15th annual Summit Racing Equipment Showdown card. Qualifying for IMCA Modifieds, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars starts Friday, Nov. 5. The Modifieds and Southern SportMods both race for $1,500 top checks and the Stock Cars for $1,000 to win on Saturday, Nov. 6.  The Modified winner becomes eligible to qualify for the 2022 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational while the Stock Car winner becomes eligible to qualify for the 2022 B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational.  Mach-1 Sport Compacts run for $200 to win on Friday.  Early entry for Modifieds and Southern SportMods is $60 and $50 for Stock Cars if paid by Nov. 3, with an additional $20 charged after that date. All Star Shootout IMCA Modified win is career first for Wojtek at Kennedale

KENNEDALE, Texas (May 29) – The hugs and high fives that followed Fred Wojtek’s All Star Shootout fueled by Fast Shafts feature win stemmed from his third place finish in his qualifying heat Saturday at Kennedale Speedway Park. Wojtek caught William Gould for the lead 11 laps into the IMCA Modified main event, then outran Gould and Jacob Pirkle to the $1,000 checkers. “We weren’t too good in the heat. We changed a spring and ball joint and good gosh, the car was like a different car (in the feature). It handled really well after we made all the changes,” Wojtek said following his first win of the season, and first-ever win at KSP. Oklahoma, Texas dates set for IMCA Allstar Shootout

ARDMORE, Okla. – Five nights of racing leading up to Memorial Day will prove memorable for Allstar drivers in three IMCA divisions. The inaugural Allstar Shootout fueled by Fast Shafts features IMCA Modifieds running for $1,000 to win, potential bonuses of $500 to as much as $3,000 and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berths May 26-30. Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars both run for $750 to win each night. Wilkins, Leasure both pick right night for IMCA feature wins at Kennedale

KENNEDALE, Texas (May 15) – Kyle Wilkins picked the right night to get his first feature win of the season while Sean Leasure picked a good night to get his fifth.  Wilkins earned $1,000 for his Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod feature win while Leasure, a high school sophomore, pocketed $800 for his latest Mach-1 Sport Compact checkers Saturday at Kennedale Speedway Park. While both drivers led start to finish, Wilkins saw his 20-lapper end green, white checkered. The Sport Compact main stayed green after a caution on the initial start and Leasure checked out.  “As soon as I took off, I knew I had to get to the bottom (of the track) and there was no turning back,” said Wilkins, the winner ahead of Jake Upchurch, Casey Brunson, David Montgomery and Billy Gould Jr.  “I’ve been close this year. Spring Kickoff starts season at Kennedale Speedway Park

KENNEDALE, Texas – Kennedale Speedway Park kicks off the new season in Texas this weekend, with the Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26 and 27 Spring Kickoff. IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars both race for $500 to win on Friday and $600 to win on Saturday, while Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods race for $500 to win to each night. Mach-1 Sport Compacts run for $200 to win on Saturday. All feature fields will start 24 cars. Start money is $80 for Modifieds and Stock Cars, $70 for the Southern SportMods and $50 for the Sport Compacts. Draw fee in all divisions is $10. New Kennedale promoter going old school with emphasis on Weekly IMCA Racing, fan interaction

KENNEDALE, Texas – New Kennedale Speedway Park promoter James Lopez looks forward to a return to “old school racing” at the famed Texas race track.  A former driver and car builder, Lopez takes charge after a lengthy stint heading tech inspection at KSP, where Saturday shows will feature IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. The IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season starts on March 6 and runs through Sept. 25. “We just want our drivers and our fans to have fun. IMCA opens loyalty bonus to all pre-registered Lone Star Tour drivers

ABILENE, Texas (Feb. 9) – Due to the upcoming cancellation of the other stock car tour scheduled the week before the Sniper Speed Lone Star Tour, IMCA will extend the $500 loyalty bonus to all IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers registered to compete in the Lone Star Tour by 5 p.m. CST today (Tuesday). Registered drivers who ran in January at Corpus Christi will be eligible for that bonus. All tour races now pay those registered drivers a minimum of $1,500 to win.  The big week of racing starts with the 24th annual Ice Breaker at Abilene Speedway on Feb. 19, followed by opening night of the fourth annual tour at Abilene.  The winner of the Friday, Feb. 19 Stock Car feature earns $3,000 while the winner’s share of the Saturday, Feb. 20 feature will be $2,000.
