Shootout sees All Stars of IMCA in action May 22-25 

ARDMORE, Okla. (May 9, 2024) – Three IMCA divisions are back in All Star action before the Memorial Day holiday.

Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win and $100 to start, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods both for $750 to win and $75 to start at All Star Shootout events fueled by IMCA.TV on May 22 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway, May 23 at Grayson County Speedway, May 24 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway and May 25 at Kennedale Speedway Park.

Point fund shares will be paid out in all three divisions.

Should all four events be held as scheduled, the top drivers in points for Modifieds and Stock Cars will be eligible to qualify for their respective race of champions at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s while the SportMod champion is guaranteed a starting spot in the IMCA Southern SportMod Super Nationals powered by Smiley’s Racing Products main event at KSP in September.

Bonus money is also at stake for the Modifieds, as the driver in that division who wins twice earns an extra $500, another $1,000 for three wins or an additional $2,000 for sweeping the Shootout.

Modified and Stock Car feature winners also become eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational or B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational, respectively, while SportMod feature winners earn provisional starts for their All-Star race during the Southern SportMod Super Nationals at KSP in September.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and state points will be awarded. Pre-entry ($75 for all four nights or $30 per track for Modifieds, $50 for all four nights or $25 per night for Stocks and SportMods) closes at 5 p.m. Monday, May 20.

Drivers can register using the All Star Shootout link on MyRacePass.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. at Ardmore, Bells and Kennedale. Gates open at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. at Waco. Spectator each night is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and kids 12 and under. Pit passes are $35.

An open practice for all All Star Shootout divisions is Tuesday, May 21 at Southern Oklahoma.

Each night of the All Star Shootout will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.
