Dan Shepherd Memorial Stock Car Shootout set at Canyon

PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars both race for $1,000 to win on night two of Canyon Speedway Park’s inaugural Dan Shepherd Memorial. The Sunday, Sept. 1 Modified main is a qualifying event for the 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational and pays a minimum of $100 to start. The 77-lap Stock Car feature pays a minimum of $75 to start. Also on Sunday, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $500 to win, Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $250. Six points separate top three drivers as West Liberty show is next for Deery Series

WEST LIBERTY, Iowa – The points race going into the night is every bit as close as the racing will be when the Deery Brothers Summer Series travels to West Liberty Raceway this weekend. The Saturday, Aug. 24 IMCA Late Model tour feature pays $2,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. Consistent Andy Eckrich has four top-five finishes through the first seven events of the season and brings the series point lead to town. IMCA national champions, top rookies earn awards from 10-year sponsor RH2

RIVERSIDE, N.J. – RH2 marks a decade of IMCA sponsorship this season, continuing an awards program benefitting top drivers in all eight sanctioned divisions. Super Nationals deadline for early registration now Aug. 29

BOONE, Iowa – Drivers planning to compete at the 37th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s have an additional six days to do so at the current pre-registration rates. Hurst leads every lap in race to Quincy Deery checkers

Inaugural Super Nationals BBQ Championship to determine another best at Boone Speedway

BOONE, Iowa – Every September, drivers from coast to coast and border to border converge on Boone Speedway to determine a champion at IMCA’s biggest event. This year, Jacob Bartz hopes to get barbecue masters attending the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s to square off and determine a champion of their own. Bartz has organized the first annual Super Nationals BBQ Championship, to be held Saturday, Sept. 7. “This is the best race in the United States, where you have drivers, fans and track owners from across the country,” said Bartz. “I want to see them enter barbecue from Oklahoma, from North Carolina and Minnesota, from all over. Rain forces cancellation of Championship Night at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Due to overnight thunderstorms and more forecasted rain later tonight, US 36 Raceway officials have decided to cancel racing for Aug. 16. This will conclude the championship chase for the season as US 36 will focus on the remaining specials scheduled for 2019. US 36 Raceway has two big post-season events planned as the Sprint Series of Nebraska joins the Saturday Sep. 28 show. Then on Oct. 9-12, it is the inaugural IMCA Missouri Nationals.
