Dan Shepherd Memorial Stock Car Shootout set at Canyon
PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars both race for $1,000 to win on night two of Canyon Speedway Park’s inaugural Dan Shepherd Memorial. The Sunday, Sept. 1 Modified main is a qualifying event for the 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational and pays a minimum of $100 to start. The 77-lap Stock Car feature pays a minimum of $75 to start. Also on Sunday, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $500 to win, Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $250. On Saturday, Aug. 31, Modifieds race for $750 to win, Stock Cars for $500, Hobby Stocks for $250 and Sport Compacts for $150. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, E3 Spark Plugs State and track points will be awarded both nights. Pill draws both days are $25 for Modifieds and Stock Cars, $15 for Hobby Stocks and $10 for Sport Compacts.
