
Ruter takes over as promoter at home track Hancock County Speedway
BRITT, Iowa – Ryan Ruter begins his promotional career this season at the same track he started racing. Ruter takes charge at home track Hancock County Speedway in Britt, where IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods will run on Friday nights beginning May 22. “I’ve always wanted to promote and the opportunity came up this year,” said the long-time IMCA Modified driver and owner of Side Biter Chassis. “I know what the fans want. I know what the drivers want. We’ll take the financial pieces of the puzzle, put everything together and have a pretty good show.” The 4/10’s mile clay oval has been reshaped with 17-18 degree banking at the top.
