Another nine IMCA Modified drivers new to Fast Shafts All-Star eligibility

VINTON, Iowa (May 17, 2022) – For a second straight month, the number of drivers earning Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility has increased by nine. Eddie Sites was the winner on opening night for the Close Racing Supply IMCA Modified Series presented by Precision Hydraulic & Oil at Skyline Raceway Motorsports Park and Troy Foulger topped the second IMCA Central California Clash event at Tulare. Austen Becerra was best in the Drive For Five lidlifter at Lee County Speedway while Nick O’Neil prevailed at Cocopah’s Mike Corning Memorial. VINTON, Iowa (May 17, 2022) – A hefty payday will be on the line for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Vermedahl Logistics May 22 at Benton County Speedway. The Sunday event pays $1,000 to win and earns the feature winner qualifying eligibility for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational at this year’s IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Veteran drivers find victory lane on opening night at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 14, 2022) – Veteran drivers found their way to victory lane for the 42nd consecutive opener at the Arlington Raceway Saturday night. 2020 national champion Cory Probst had a great birthday present as he drew the pole for the start in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby feature. Chad Volk moved forward from his seventh place start to challenge Probst but settled for second. Jordan Robinson from Marshall won the Hess Technology best appearing car award in the division. Four-time national champion Nate Coopman started in the number one spot for the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature but the 23 cars behind him also wanted that top spot and some got a bit clustered as the race went on. SPENCER, Iowa (May 17, 2022)– IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars get top billing at the Clay County Fair Speedway Masters Manufacturing Classic, running for $5,000 to win, a minimum of $500 to start and a guaranteed starting spot in the B & B Race Cars All-Star Invitational on Monday, May 23. A night of firsts on memorable night at Benton County Speedway

VINTON, Iowa (May 15, 2022) – Milestone wins were the theme Sunday night at Benton County Speedway as multiple drivers earned career firsts on the quarter-mile Bullring. The charge of first-time winners was led by 2021 IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock national champion Kaden Reynolds who motored to the first win of his career in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Vermedahl Logistics. The first-year Stock Car driver started inside row three and quickly sliced through traffic to assume the early lead. Dallon Murty, who started alongside Reynolds, chased the division rookie to the front of the pack. Gary Lamphere tops podium at The Hill

By Chrystal Wyant MONROETON, Pa. (May 13, 2022) – Gary Lamphere pedaled to the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified checkers on opening night Friday at The Hill Speedway. Lamphere led the entire race to finish in first place. Jake Maynard was in second until lap six, when Keith Lamphere took over. Eddie Sites moved into the runner-up spot on lap 13 but Keith Lamphere raced his way back to second two laps later. Maynard ended in third. A bike raffle/give away for the kids was held during intermission. The bikes were donated by Rocky’s Bicycle Shop in Monroe.

Wauters wins again on last lap at Indee

By Jeremy Fox INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (May 14, 2022) – Saturday was Night Two of the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing Season at Independence Motor Speedway and it was absolute beautiful night for racing on the 3/8 mile banked oval on the Buchanan County Fairgrounds. One hundred and three race cars signed in and the night wrapped up at 9:45 p.m. The first feature of the night was the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car 20-lapper. Cole Mather took the lead on lap two just before the first of four cautions over the next three laps. Mather held tough on the restarts and fended off Kaden Reynolds before pulling away. Crystal mourns loss of Brandon Bogart

By Verwayne Greenhoe CRYSTAL, Mich. (May 14, 2022) – Crystal Motor Speedway canceled events scheduled for Saturday night due to wet conditions and the threat of rain. Racing aside, the track would like to take a moment to recognize our loss. Early in the afternoon of May 11, Crystal Motor Speedway and Montcalm County lost an employee, a faithful friend, family member, and a wonderful human being. Brandon Bogart had worked at the track since he was 12 and was a fireman for Crystal Township, Home Township and the Stanton Community fire departments. He had been fighting cancer for over a year at Metro Hospital and finally laid down his fireman’s coat and went ‘home.’ Brandon fought the disease with courage and humor. Ron Flinn, CMS owner and promoter said, “Brandon was a great person who always went above and beyond to help people at the track and in the community for a lot of years.
