Gary Lamphere was the Friday night Friesen Performance IMCA Modified winner at The Hill Speedway.

MONROETON, Pa. (May 13, 2022) – Gary Lamphere pedaled to the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified checkers on opening night Friday at The Hill Speedway.

Lamphere led the entire race to finish in first place. Jake Maynard was in second until lap six, when Keith Lamphere took over.

Eddie Sites moved into the runner-up spot on lap 13 but Keith Lamphere raced his way back to second two laps later. Maynard ended in third.

A bike raffle/give away for the kids was held during intermission. The bikes were donated by Rocky’s Bicycle Shop in Monroe.

Sites climbs podium at The Hill

(May 20) – Friday night saw Eddie Sites in victory lane at The Hill Speedway.  Keith Lamphere took the lead on the first lap of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event, followed by Sites and previous week’s winner Gary Lamphere. On lap six the caution came out and on the ensuing restart Sites was able to take the lead and stayed in front to the finish. Lamphere finished second with Brad Sites third.

Eddie Sites tops podium at The Hill

(June 25) – The front row of Friday’s IMCA Modified feature at The Hill Speedway was a family affair, as Aaron and Matt Benjamin paced the field.  Gary Lamphere took over the lead position on lap four, with Eddie Sites tucked up tight to Lamphere’s bumper. Sites took command on the next circuit, and fought off multiple challenges from Rodney Morgan, who was driving the Rick Watt number 99 this week. Portland, Mich.’s Jeff Reay, who won at Tri City Motor Speedway last Friday. and backed it up with a win in the Eastern IMCA All Stars at Thunderbird Raceway on Wednesday, was on the move from 10th starting position, and took over second on the 17th lap.  Reay caught the leader, but ran out of time and recorded second at the end of the 20-lap affair. Gary Lamphere tops IMCA Modifieds at The Hill

MONROETON, Pa. (July 23) – Elite Arms joined with The Copy Source to sponsor special 30-lap mid-season championship features at The Hill Friday night. Gary Lamphere led the first six circuits in the IMCA Modified feature,  with Keith Jack Lamphere taking over. Eddie Sites powered into second on the eighth lap with Gary and Rodney Morgan debating third.  Contact between the leaders ended Sites’ night and moved Keith Jack Lamphere to the rear for the restart.  Gary Lamphere regained the lead and paced the field to the checkers. Morgan kept the pressure on throughout, but settled for second at the finish. Brad Sites moved into third with seven laps remaining, and Keith Jack Lamphere, recovered to finish fourth. J.W. Lamphere was fifth.
