IMCA Stock Cars chase $2,000 Prelude payday at Kennedale

KENNEDALE, Texas (May 16, 2022) – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars looking to tune up for the All Star Shootout run for $2,000 to win their Prelude feature at Kennedale Speedway Park this Saturday, May 21.

A minimum of $200 will be paid to start that event, with a $500 bonus paid to the driver who can win Friday at Heart O’ Texas Speedway or Boyd Raceway and follow with the Saturday victory at KSP.

The winner also becomes eligible to qualify for the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. There is no entry fee or draw fee. Stock Cars race for IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylinder Heads Southern and KMJ State points but not track points that evening.

Also on the card are Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, racing for $600 to win and $100 to start, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods, racing for $500 to win and $75 to start, and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts. National, state and track points, plus GRT Race Cars South Central Region points for the Modifieds, will be awarded.

Pit passes are $35. Spectator admission is $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, $7 for kids ages 6-11 and free for five and under.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m., the grandstands open at 5 p.m. and racing starts ay 7 p.m.

Oklahoma, Texas dates set for IMCA Allstar Shootout

ARDMORE, Okla. – Five nights of racing leading up to Memorial Day will prove memorable for Allstar drivers in three IMCA divisions. The inaugural Allstar Shootout fueled by Fast Shafts features IMCA Modifieds running for $1,000 to win, potential bonuses of $500 to as much as $3,000 and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berths May 26-30. New Kennedale promoter going old school with emphasis on Weekly IMCA Racing, fan interaction

KENNEDALE, Texas – New Kennedale Speedway Park promoter James Lopez looks forward to a return to “old school racing” at the famed Texas race track.  A former driver and car builder, Lopez takes charge after a lengthy stint heading tech inspection at KSP, where Saturday shows will feature IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. The IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season starts on March 6 and runs through Sept. 25. “We just want our drivers and our fans to have fun. KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 6, 2023) – All-Star qualifying features for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are on the card both nights of Kennedale Speedway Park’s season-opening Spring Kick Off.  Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility Feb. 24 and 25 while Stock Cars run for $750 to win on Friday, $1,000 to win on Saturday and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational eligibility each night. Top checks for Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods are $600 on Friday and $1,000 on Saturday. Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts vie for $200 to win at both shows.
