VINTON, Iowa (May 17, 2022) – A hefty payday will be on the line for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Vermedahl Logistics May 22 at Benton County Speedway.
The Sunday event pays $1,000 to win and earns the feature winner qualifying eligibility for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational at this year’s IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
In addition to the hefty winner’s share, the Stock Car feature will pay $100 to start. There is no entry fee.
IMCA National, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and KMJ Performance Iowa State points will be awarded in the draw/redraw special for the Stock Cars.
The weekly points season will continue in all other divisions Sunday night at The Bullring, including the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by KISS Country 96.5, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company, Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts and INEX Legends presented by Legends.Direct.
Pit gates will open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand at 4:30. Hot laps are slated for 5:30 with the first race set to go green at 6.
Adult grandstand admission is $13, seniors and veterans $11, and ages 6-14 $5. Kids ages five and under are admitted free if accompanying a paid adult. Pit passes are $30.
