Princeton’s Western Showdown features four IMCA divisions

PRINCETON, Minn. – Four IMCA sanctioned divisions run at Princeton Speedway’s Western Showdown special this weekend. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified features on Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24 pay $1,000 to win, a minimum of $100 to start and are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run for $500 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $125 to win both nights. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance points, but no lo­cal track points, will be awarded at the fourth annual special. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. both days. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $7 for students ages 7-17 and free for six and under. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $17 for minors ages 5-17. September Fest special ends season at Beatrice

BEATRICE, Neb. – The final checkers of 2016 fly at Beatrice Speedway this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23 and 24. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified features are on September Fest programs both nights in $1,500 to win, minimum $125 to start qualifying events for the 2017 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet North­ern SportMods race for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $300 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200 to win each night. IMCA Modifieds ready to cash in at Outlaw Fall Nationals 

By Steven Ovens DUNDEE, N.Y. – While the track championship has been decided at New York’s Outlaw Speedway, there is still a great deal of coin, points and national, regional and state IMCA implications left on the line in 2016. Tyler Siri’s Outlaw Speedway will host the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds for two monster shows during the inaugural Outlaw Fall Nationals Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23 and 24. Corn Cob Nationals this weekend at Buffalo River Race Park

GLYNDON, Minn. – Buffalo River Race Park wraps up the 2016 season with its Corn Cob Nationals program this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 and 18. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods vie for IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points; BMS North Central Region points will also be awarded to Modified drivers. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. Racing is at 6 p.m. Complimentary corn on the cob will be served on both sides of the track. A drawing for an Ice Castle fish house will be held during intermission Saturday night. Admission is $1 for adults and $5 for juniors. Pit passes are $30. Great Lakes Nationals prize is $3,000 for IMCA Modifieds 

CRYSTAL, Mich. – Three thousand dollars and a spot on the ballot for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot are at stake at this weekend’s Great Lakes Nationals. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds running Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 and 18 at Crystal Motor Speedway earn a minimum of $300 to start, along with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region and Allstar Performance State points. The Modified feature will be 50 laps. Pit gates open at 1 p.m. Saturday. Huge weekend doubleheader for Sprint Series of Oklahoma

By David Smith Jr. ARDMORE, Okla. – A pivotal weekend in the battle for the inaugural point championship takes place this weekend as the Sprint Series of Oklahoma is set for a doubleheader weekend this coming Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17. It all kicks off on Friday night as the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car Series make its fourth and final appearance of the season at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore. The SSO will then take to the road and head northwest to Longdale, Okla., Speedway for its inaugural appearance at the speedway. They will be joined by the Kansas based United Rebel Sprint Car Series (URSS) in much anticipated event between the two series on “neutral” ground.   BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 6) – Fans of the 4-cylinder class will get their money’s worth and then some Tuesday night at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. A record 84 Mach-1 Sport Compacts race tonight with eight heats and four “B” features setting the field for the 25-lap main event at Boone Speedway.
