IMCA Arnold Motor Supply Hawkeye Dirt Tour tops opening night card at Dubuque County Fair 

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Opening night of the Dubuque County Fair brings the Arnold Motor Supply Hawkeye Dirt Tour for IMCA Modifieds to town for a Tuesday, July 25 event. The Open Wheel Race Day show at Dubuque Speedway pays $1,200 to win and a minimum $150 to start. The feature is also a qualifier for the 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. The Hawkeye Dirt Tour has yet to see a repeat winner through its first six races so far this season. Joel Rust of Grundy Center has parlayed four top-five finishes into the series point lead. Also running are Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, for $450 to win. Friday IMCA Modified feature at Salina pays $1,500 to win

SALINA, Kan. – The $1,500 to win feature for IMCA Modifieds gets top billing on the Friday, July 21 race program at Salina Speedway. The 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier will be complemented by $500 to win features for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks vie for $300 to win on Feldkamp Furniture Night. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State and track points will be awarded. All divisions will be draw/redraw and there is no entry fee. Southern Iowa Speedway, Knoxville dates next for IMCA Arnold Motor Supply Hawkeye Dirt Tour

OSKALOOSA, Iowa – Still looking for a repeat winner, the Arnold Motor Supply Haw­keye Dirt Tour next takes traveling IMCA Modifieds to Southern Iowa Speedway and Knoxville Raceway for a pair of midweek shows. The Wednesday, July 19 feature at Oskaloosa pays $1,000 to win while the Thursday, July 20 Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel event at Knoxville totes a $1,500 top prize. CENTER LISLE, N.Y. – Round three of the Empire State Series for IMCA Modifieds brings the tour back to Thunder Mountain Speedway for a Saturday, July 15 event. The Farmer Insurance Night feature pays $750 to win with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, Allstar Performance State and track points at stake as well. URSS readies for Wheatshocker Nationals 

KAYS, Kan. – After a grueling four races in seven days, with three of those races held last week­end, United Rebel Sprint Series drivers will lock and load for the much-anticipated ninth annual Wheatshocker Nationals at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kan., this Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16. IMCA Modified Madness 50 at Davenport Speedway this Friday 

DAVENPORT, Iowa – The long-anticipated and twice re-scheduled IMCA Modified Madness 50 is up next at the Davenport Speedway this Friday, July 14. Drivers will be competing for the $2,000 first-place prize along with a 2017 Fast Shafts All-star Invitational ballot berth. This is the seventh straight year DRT TRAK Racing Inc. has offered a $2,000-to-win race for the IMCA Modifieds. Kyle Brown of Madrid is the defending champion race winner. Last year, 49 Modi­fied drivers representing four states competed. Freedom 40 and $1,000 to win for Sprint Series of Oklahoma this Friday night 

By David Smith, Jr. MEEKER, Okla. – It will be a night of firsts this Friday, July 14 for the Sprint Series of Oklahoma presented by Smiley’s Racing Products. The IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Series makes its way to Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker for the makeup-running of the Freedom 40 rained out back on June 30. Contributions to the purse, to the tune of $1,500, has been added to make this the largest purse in the two-year history for the series with Friday night’s feature winner earning $1,000. Just to start the 20-car feature pays $275. A full night of heat races, last chance and the 40-lap feature finale will be on tap, the most laps ever run the series. IMCA Modifieds race for big checks during I-30’s Ed Jordan Memorial Weekend

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A pair of 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events fill the card for I-30 Speedway’s Ed Jordan Memorial Weekend. The Friday, July 21 Preliminary feature for IMCA Modifieds pays $1,500 to win and a minimum of $150 to start while the Saturday, July 22 Ed Jordan Memorial pays $2,500 to win and a minimum of $250 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Jet Racing Central Region, Allstar Performance State and track points will be given both nights. If paid by July 19, the $125 entry fee for the weekend includes the driver’s pit pass for both nights. Grandstand admission for adults is $5 on Friday and $10 on Saturday.
