First up tonight (Friday, Aug. 30) is the LaSaure’s Banquet Hall season championship night at the races. Season-long point battles will come to an end and the champions in each of the five weekly divisions will be named. The point battles in three classes are exceptionally tight and will likely not be settled until the final checker flag drops. The Automotive Supply Company IMCA Modifieds have seen the Jerovetz family atop the standings for most of the year as cousins Troy and Sean Jerovetz have fought tooth and nail for the title. Sean, by virtue of his win last week, managed to put a five point gap between himself and Troy. Both drivers have a solid cushion on Marcus Yarie who sits third in the standings, so the outcome is all but assured the Jerovetz name will be [Read More]
