North Star Series races to Redwood Speedway this Sunday

REDWOOD FALLS, Minn. (May 28) – Redwood Speedway rolls out the red carpet for round three of the Redline Racing Parts North Star Series, with five IMCA divisions on the track this Sunday, June 1.

IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts all vie on the half-mile dirt oval at Redwood Falls.

Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 5:15 p.m. with racing to follow. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State, special series and local track points will be awarded.

Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $8 for students ages 13-17 and free for kids 12 and under accompanying a paid adult. Pit passes are $25.

Point leaders heading into the Sunday show are Joshua Meyer in the Modifieds, Jim Larson in the Stocks, Matthew Looft in the SportMods, Justin Luinenburg in the Hobbies and Nate Coopman in the Sport Compacts.
