Stand Packer Night at Salina Speedway set for May 23

SALINA, Kan. — A huge capacity crowd is guaranteed for Friday, on Salina Speedway’s Stand Packer Night.

All fans have the opportunity to get in free courtesy of their favorite drivers. Each ticket is accepted until the grandstands hit their capacity at just over 3,000. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and carpool if possible.

Each driver in attendance last weekend received their package of tickets to hand out to whoever wants them. The driver who hands out the most tickets that come back through the gate on race night will receive a special customized fire suit as an award courtesy of BSB Manufacturing and Salina Speedway.

Drivers finishing in second through fifth place will receive a paid entry into the Mid-America Clash II year-end special, and sixth through 10th will receive one free pit pass to use during the season.

And if that’s not enough race fans also get to be part of something special … fans entering the track that night will receive a ticket. If they bring that ticket back to the track with them the following week for the ASCS Sprint Car show they will be eligible for prizes given away that evening.

Six divisions will be in action on May 23 to kick off the Memorial Weekend, including BSB Manufacturing NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Late Models, Belleville Motorsports IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light Street Stocks, M&H Motors IMCA Northern SportMods, Auto House Mod Lites, and Budweiser IMCA Hobby Stocks. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:15 p.m. with racing to follow.
