VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 26, 2026) — August competition added nine new drivers to the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car eligibility list for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational, while nine already eligible drivers added to their qualifying win totals.
Drivers become eligible by winning Speedway Motors IMCA-sanctioned events paying $1,000 or more to win, earning the opportunity to qualify for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational, held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway. Drivers winning qualifying events paying $5,000 or more receive automatic starting positions in the invitational.
Already eligible drivers continued to collect qualifying victories throughout August. Brock Beeter won the Ole Olson Memorial at Nodak Speedway on Aug. 9, while Greg Peck collected victories during the Donald Green Tribute at Park Jefferson Speedway on Aug. 7 and the Bill Kirk Memorial there on Aug. 16.
Jayce Reimer won Aug. 21 at Salt City Racing in Hutchinson, Kan., while Kelly Shryock captured the Harken Memorial at Kossuth County Speedway on Aug. 6. Chris Tuchscherer swept both nights of the Coal County Classic at McLean County Speedway on Aug. 7-8.
Brett Wenzel won Aug. 8 at Shawano Speedway, Tyler Wilson won Aug. 1 at 141 Speedway, and Elijah Zevenbergen added a qualifying victory Aug. 15 at Worthington Speedway.
First-time qualifier winners included Chad Hertel during the Terry Wojtek Stock Car All-Star Race at Abilene Speedway on Aug. 15, Jeramy Hughes at Aztec Speedway on Aug. 1, and Austin Kaplan at Marshalltown Speedway on Aug. 18.
Justin Luinenburg won Aug. 14 at Murray County Speedway, while Damon Murty won Aug. 21 at Maquoketa Speedway. Gage Neal was victorious there the following night, Aug. 22.
Kyle Olson won the Mike Benson & Scott Beauregard Memorial at Benton County Speedway on Aug. 2, Troy Swearingen captured the Schattschneider Memorial at Kossuth County Speedway on Aug. 13, and Tim Watts won Aug. 7 at Rooks County Speedway.
There are still qualifying opportunities to come in late August before more qualifiers in September. Events through Sept. 6 will award eligibility to attempt to qualify for the 2026 B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational.
The EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region has two qualifying opportunities Aug. 29, with Iowa’s Boone Speedway hosting the Watermelon Classic and 300 Raceway hosting the Yankee Dirt Classic.
The EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region has two qualifiers at California’s Santa Maria Speedway during the Simkins Memorial, with opening night Sept. 5 and the finale Sept. 6.
Qualifying for the 2027 B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational then gets underway later in September, with Arkansas’ Batesville Motor Speedway hosting the Mid-America Stock Car Championship on Sept. 19 in the EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region.
