BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 27) – Another week, another record number of entries for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Registration opened on July 7 and Northern SportMod driver Travis Burger of Manhattan, Kan., became the first pre-entry. Modified driver Brent Dutenhoffer of Watertown, S.D., became the record 800th pre-registered driver this afternoon. This is the earliest day early entry numbers for Super Nationals have hit that mark. The 800 entries this year continue to run about 60 ahead of the same time last August. As of 3:30 p.m. Friday, drivers from 27 states and Canada are entered in the 39th annual running of America’s Racin’ Vacation® at Boone Speedway Sep. 6-11. By division, entries include 214 Modifieds, 198 Stock Cars, 150 Northern SportMods, 124 Hobby Stocks, 63 Sport Compacts and 47 STARS Mod Lites.
