Dye, Nichols deliver wins on the high banks of US 36

OSBORN, Mo. (May 5, 2023) – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars roared to the track Friday night and Jacob Dye roared to his first feature win of the season at US 36 Raceway.

Jack Potter took the early lead, setting a blistering pace on the fast and smooth 3/8’s mile dirt oval with Jacob Dye in tow. Mike Houseman Jr. and Tyler Drueke battled and ran down the leaders as the race developed with Potter continuing to lead.

Going caution-free, Dye made his move on the high side of turn four as the white flag waved, took the lead from Potter and picked up his first feature win of 2023. Potter placed second with Houseman third.

The IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars saw a loaded field of talent tackle the track with Ricky Couch taking the lead on the opening laps while Mike Nichols and Mich Ross both started their march to the front.

Nichols worked his way around the fast no. 2X of Couch only to see Ross following to challenge for the lead.

Nichols and Ross battled it out for the front with Nichols taking his first win of 2023 on the high banks with Ross coming across the line in second. Couch placed a solid and impressive third on the night.

Starmer storms to Crist Memorial checkers

(July 24) – The fourth annual Joe Crist Memorial boasted the toughest field of IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars U.S. 36 Raceway has seen this season, and Steve Starmer proved to be the fastest of them Friday night.  Twenty-nine cars checked in to battle for the $1,562 to win race. With 26 laps on the board, Joe Crist’s number 62 reversed, the field rolled into turn one with pole-sitter Starmer in the lead. With constant two and three-wide racing behind him, Starmer immediately found the high line to be the fast way around. Chad Clancy quickly moved into the second position and began to look for a way around Starmer. Behind Clancy, Doug Keller and J.J. Baumli began their moves through the field as well. However, for the entire second half of the event, the battle raged between Starmer and Clancy. Hicks Memorial Shootout is Friday at US 36

OSBORN, Mo. – Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Friday night, Aug. 24, when US 36 Raceway hosts the second annual Wayne Hicks Memorial Shootout for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. In addition to an increased purse, Northern SportMod drivers are in the running for drawing prizes. It’s also championship night for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars at Osborn.

US 36 Raceway to offer online tickets this season

OSBORN, Mo. – U.S. 36 Raceway is pleased to announce that online tickets will be available for pre-purchase this season.  Fans and teams will now have the opportunity to plan ahead and purchase their tickets through U.S. 36’s new online home http://us36racewaydirttrack.com and MyRacePass. Either click on the Buy Tickets button on the home page or click on the ticket icon under the schedule and results.  Tickets are set to go on sale Monday, March 8. Tickets will have an available window to purchase online through noon the day of the event.  After purchasing your ticket, print out the voucher and bring it, along with a valid I.D. of the purchaser, to the track the night of the event.
