Friday’s IMCA Modified Blowout at US 36 pays $1,500 to win

OSBORN, Mo. – As the season starts to come to a close with only two points nights remaining, US 36 Raceway has a lot going on this Friday, Aug. 2.

Headlining the night is the Modified Blowout presented by Lent Prints. IMCA Modifieds are racing for $1,500 to win along with a 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth, while both the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods race for $1,000 to win.

The night will also feature Miller Welding Public Safety Night. All public safety workers get free admission to the night’s event. This includes police officers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, EMTs, correctional officers, current military and veterans.

US 36 has more to offer as it is also Back to School Night. US 36 will be giving away backpacks of school supplies. School supply donations are being accepted to help fill those backpacks. Several bikes will also be given away. To add to the fun, there will also be a face painting station. 

The pits open at 5 p.m. and the grandstands open at 6 p.m. Hot laps start at 7:30 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors, $5 for children seven to 12 years of age and children six and younger are free.
