Beckendorf Capitalizes Late and Hibdon Controls Thursday Modified Qualifiers

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 10, 2026) — Brandon Beckendorf capitalized on late trouble for the leaders, while Kollin Hibdon took command near halfway and never looked back in Thursday’s Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified qualifying during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Two 25-lap qualifiers determined eight starting spots in the middle lane of Saturday’s Big Dance, with the top four finishers in each locking themselves into the championship event. Minnesota’s Jake Timm led the opening lap of the first qualifier before a caution slowed the field on lap two. Timm was strong on the restart and quickly began opening an advantage before another yellow on lap four. Registration Opens July 13 for 44th Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals Fueled by Casey’s

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (June 25, 2026) — Registration for the 44th annual Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s opens at noon (CST) on Monday, July 13, for the premier event in IMCA racing. America’s Racin’ Vacation returns to Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa, from Sept. 5-12, where thousands of drivers, crews, and fans will converge for one of the largest racing events in the world. Before registering, competitors must first purchase an IMCA license for every division in which they intend to compete. Drivers should then register for the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals on MyRacePass. Entries will be confirmed in the order they are received, with car numbers assigned based on confirmation order. Pit stall reservations should only be made after completing event registration. Hatlestad Makes Late Move for Modified Victory

(June 27, 2026) — Clint Hatlestad patiently stalked Dan Menk before making the winning move with two laps remaining in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature at Arlington Raceway on Saturday. Menk controlled most of the caution-free 15-lap race before lapped traffic allowed Hatlestad to capitalize in the closing circuits. The Glencoe driver earned his sixth Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season, with five of those wins coming at Arlington Raceway. Menk finished second, Matt Looft was third, Chad Porter crossed the line fourth and Jason Schroeder rounded out the top five. Speckman Wins Three-Leader Stock Car Battle Matt Speckman prevailed in a spirited Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature that featured three different leaders. Moser Makes Most of 2025 Opportunities with Four IMCA Track and Tour Championships

Winner of three of just 13 Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod starts close to home in 2025, the Thornton, Colorado, hotshoe finished no worse than fifth in any of those outings. That consistency translated into a quartet of championships, track crowns at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan and Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, and in both the Colorado Alliance Tour and the Great Plains IMCA Tour. Probst Finds Victory Lane at Britt in Hobby Stock Main

By Chad Meyer BRITT, Iowa (July 18, 2025) — Friday’s racing action at Hancock County Speedway brought the Hobby Stock Clash of the Titans to the Britt coliseum. Cory Probst made the most of his first trip to the track this season. Drawing the third starting spot in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock main, he battled early with Josh Sidles before taking control and leading the rest of the way to victory. Sidles held off a hard-charging Josh Monson to finish second. Probst now has 21 wins in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region in 2025. The top six from each Hobby Stock main qualified for the night-ending Clash of the Titans, a 12-lap dash that paid $500 to win.
