BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 4, 2022) – The popular cornhole tournaments return to Boone Speedway during the 40th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, and competitors will have three opportunities to bag big money.
A maximum of 48 two-person teams will be entered in double elimination tournaments Sunday, Sept. 4; Wednesday, Sept. 7; and Friday, Sept. 9.
Entry fee for each tourney is $40. Teams are required to pre-register and pre-pay, and must do so online through IMCA or Super Nationals websites.
There will be a 100 percent payback to top four teams in each tournament and no refunds paid to teams that register but don’t show up.
“We anticipate full fields for each tournament and recommend that teams interested in competing register as soon as possible,” said IMCA President Brett Root. “Check-in time is 9:30 a.m. and I anticipate that tournaments will start before 10 a.m. each day, so get there early.”
Tournaments will be held near the east catwalk in the pit area. Scorezit, a division of Wehrs Machine and Racing Products, returns as title sponsor of the fourth annual Super Nationals tournaments and awards Scorezit scorekeepers to top teams at each tourney.
Official tournament manager will be Brett Greer.
