IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars Batesville bound for Oct. 12-15 World Championship & Mid-America Championship shows

BATESVILLE, Ark. (Sept. 28, 2022) – Four rich nights of racing for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are on the fall schedule at Batesville Motor Speedway, beginning with the second annual World IMCA Stock Car Championships Oct. 12-14 and ending with the $10,000 to win Schoenfeld Headers Mid-America IMCA Stock Car Championship on Oct. 15. Feature events Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Oct. 12-14 each pay $4,000 to win, $2,000 for second, $1,250 for third and $1,000 for fourth. Minimum start money is $400 and non-qualifier pay is $100.  Winners become eligible to qualify for the 2023 B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational and the top driver in points for the three nights earns a $1,000 bonus.  Pre-entry fee is $150 by Oct. 8 or $200 after that date. (Sept. 14, 2022) – A lot of talent and a little luck could send one lucky driver home with as much as $13,000 from Batesville Motor Speedway’s September 22-24 Race For Hope 71.  The new format for the sixth annual special, presented by IMCA.TV, sees Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds racing for $4,000 to win along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational eligibility each night Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the top driver in points for the three shows earning a $1,000 bonus. Runners-up each night get $2,000 with $1,250 for third and $1,000 for fifth. (Aug. 29, 2022) – The richest race of the season for The Class Too Tough to Tame in Arkansas is on tap Sept. 2-3, when Batesville Motor Speedway rolls out the red carpet for the Schoenfeld Headers Mid-America IMCA Stock Car Championship. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $10,000 to win at the 27th annual event, along with an automatic starting spot in the upcoming B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. The runner-up earns $5,000 with $2,500 paid for third, $1,250 for fourth and $1,000 for fifth. Batesville reschedules IMCA weekly show to Sunday afternoon

BATESVILLE, Ark. (April 8, 2022) – Races for tonight (Friday, April 8) at Batesville Motor Speedway have been re-scheduled for Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m. due to the wet ground conditions and the extremely cold temperatures.  Pit gates will Sunday at noon and the grandstands will open at 1 p.m. The awards ceremony for the 2021 drivers will take place in victory race and races will follow at 2 p.m. with IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars on the afternoon card.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded in both IMCA divisions. Spectator admission is only $20 per carload.

Batesville primed for March 24-26 Arkansas Spring Nationals

BATESVILLE, Ark. (March 22, 2022) – IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars both run for $1,500 to win each night of Arkansas Spring Nationals at Batesville Motor Speedway. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 24-25-26 special is presented by the Skyway Auto Group. Each runner-up earns $1,000 and the minimum paid to start a 24-car field is $200. Modified feature winners earn Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility while Stock Car feature winners become eligible to qualify for the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. Fireworks follow rich World IMCA Stock Car Championship feature win by LaCrosse

BATESVILLE, Ark. (Oct. 16) – An IMCA Sunoco Stock Car marathon ended with a two-lap sprint and Benji LaCrosse took home $50,000 from Batesville Motor Speedway’s World IMCA Stock Car Championship presented by IMCA.TV Saturday night. LaCrosse took his first lead seven circuits into the 71-lapper, passed Peyton Taylor on the 21st and 43rd circuits to regain the front spot, then held off Taylor in a two-lap shootout following a late caution. “I’m just speechless,” LaCrosse said following the top payday in division history and then getting a chance to catch his breath mid-interview while waiting for a spectacular post-race fireworks display to end. “We had a good car all week and I thought if a guy could get through quick enough he had a good chance of holding the spot. World IMCA Stock Car Championship opening night checkers fly for Thornton

BATESVILLE, Ark. (Oct. 13) – Challenged throughout a fast-paced 25-lapper, Dylan Thornton held off all challengers in winning Wednesday’s World IMCA Stock Car Championship presented by IMCA.TV opening night qualifying feature at Batesville Motor Speedway.
