Cash, license awarded in Duel Best Appearing Car contest
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified driver winning XSAN Best Appearing Car presented by Wells Design voting during the Duel In The Desert won’t have to go to the casino to hit it big. Voting will be conducted during the Nov. 6-9 Duel via the XSAN Facebook page. XSAN, which will televise the 16th annual event at the half-mile Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will pay the top vote getter $500. Second place will be good for $300 and third place $200. The winner also receives a 2014 competitor’s license and trophy from presentation sponsor Wells Design and will be recognized on the front stretch during pre-race ceremonies on Saturday, Nov. 9. “Cars must have a Las Vegas theme to be eligible for voting,” explained IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Many drivers have already been coming to the Duel with a Vegas-themed wrap or design and this year we will continue to draw special attention to their designs.” Questions about the Duel In The Desert Best Appearing Car contest [Read More]
