LEBANON, Tenn. – QuickCar Racing Products returns as an IMCA sponsor this season, with new awards for national champions in all sanctioned divisions.
Recipients of QuickCar-manufactured 3-gauge panels include top drivers in national standings for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods.
The Late Model national champion earns a 4-gauge panel set. Both the IMCA Eagle Motorsports Sprint Car and Mach-1 Sport Compact national champions receive 2-gauge panel sets.
“We’re happy to be on board with IMCA again,” said QuickCar General Manager Danny Knowles. “We’ve been growing by leaps and bounds. We’ve got new dealers, we’re expanding into new markets and have a more diverse product line.”
The Lebanon, Tenn., manufacturer had given awards to IMCA special series champions following the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
QuickCar also manufactures volt meters, water pressure kits, tachometers and switch panels, among other high performance products.
“We’re passionate about IMCA and the Modifieds in particular,” added Knowles, himself a veteran of that division. “The racing is awesome, IMCA has a good set of rules, good tracks and good people. We have a lot of products that we’ll be able to target to IMCA members this year.”
“Since 2012, I think the idea that we’d renew our partnership with QuickCar was something Danny and I have discussed at each of the past couple Performance Racing Industry trade shows, and the timing is right to put it together for 2015,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “They are very reputable in the industry and have an outstanding product line that is perfect for IMCA racers. We’re proud to have them back on board.”
National champions will receive their awards during the IMCA banquet in November.
Modified, Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod champions at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and the champion at the Sprint Car Super Nationals all earn QuickCar tachometers.
