
IMCA honors record class of champions and top rookies at 2013 national awards banquet
LINCOLN, Neb. (Nov. 30) – A record number of champions took home a record amount of point fund and bonus money from the IMCA national awards banquet, held Saturday in Lincoln, Neb. The 2013 national champions were William Gould, IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds; Justin Kay, IMCA Late Models; John Ricketts, IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Cars; Brandon Czarapata, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars; Devin Smith, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks; Matt Looft, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods; Gabe Tucker, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods; and Ramsey Meyer, Mach-1 Sport Compacts. Regional Modified kings included Zane DeVilbiss in the Larry Shaw Racing Western; Jesse Sobbing in the Belleville Motorsports North Central; Jeremy Frenier in the Jet Racing Central; William Gould in the BillsBuilt South Central; and Chris Fleming in the Dirt Works Eastern.
