
URSS Rebels ready for RPM, 81 doubleheader
HAYS, Kan. – The United Rebel Sprint Series will hit the ground running with a double header weekend at one of the driver’s favorite tracks and a trip to one of the region’s most storied tracks. All eyes will be on the Rebels as the point season begins with trips to two lightning fast 3/8’s-mile ovals. On Saturday night, May 27, the URSS heads to RPM Speedway in Hays, Kan., for the first of three appearances this season. The Kansas Region date is a make-up for the April 29 race in which Mother Nature claimed victory. Pit gates will open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. and the green flag waves at 7 p.m. On Sunday, May 28, the URSS makes its way back to C.
