SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (May 25-26) – Chaz Baca got his first win of the season on opening night while Zachary Madrid’s victory on night two of the John Morris Classic at Arizona Speedway got him on the ballot for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. Baca led start to finish in the Saturday feature, starting third and pulling away from the rest of the IMCA Modified field after a pair of late cautions. Red River Tour checkers fly for Davis at Heart O’ Texas

By Jackson Braun WACO, Texas (May 26) – A late-race pass by Cory Davis of teammate Chris Elliott extended the streak of new winners on the Lone Star Super Gas IMCA Red River Modified Tour presented by Smiley’s Racing Products Sunday at Heart O’ Texas Speedway. Elliott got the lead on the initial start, with Cody Tidwell and then Chris Morris running in second. With five laps remaining in the 25-lap contest, Morris took his shot in turn four. He made contact with the inside of Elliott’s machine and spun himself out, ending a strong run. After a few restarts, Elliott shot back out to the lead, with Davis in pursuit. Bragg gets 100th IMCA win at opener for Red River Tour

Bragg led all 25 laps of a main event that ran caution-free Saturday at Kennedale Speedway Park, negotiating lapped traffic while holding off Tyler Stevens and Chris Morris. Bragg became the 55th driver in division history to reach the 100-win mark with the $1,500 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying victory. “This is definitely a career highlight.
